Let's rewind a little

A FEW MINUTES BEFORE - LANI'S POV:

Lani flies away from Kyuala and her companion, heading down the stairs and toward the exit. She gets out of the door, sliding past a customer who's walking in.

Lani begins flying around, seeing the big building in the distance but sees she can't get there directly which causes her to sigh in frustration as she looks for an alternate path. She then heads to her right as she makes her way to said new path, but as she does, Lani hears a noise from the nearby alley she's passed by a few times now. The loud bang catches her attention, so she looks into the alley, seeing two large figures with clubs in hand however further back, she sees a smaller figure, more feminine figure. Lani gets closer, hiding just behind the wall, peeking into the alley and sees the cat-woman from her previous passes of said alleyway, however this time is different. The other times Lani passed, she saw the cat-woman pleasuring men however this time, she seems... frightened of the two aforementioned figures.

The towering duo get closer to the cat as she pleads, "Please, I don't have the money! I just need more time!".

The towering figure strikes his club against the left wall, crushing the bricks as he says "Not good enough cat!".

The one on the right then says, "The Mistress wants payment, today!".

As duo then get closer to the cowering woman, Lani feels a sudden pull within her, a feeling, no.. a obligation.. to at least help this poor defenceless woman.

That's when Lani pulls away from the wall, flying a few feet into the alley before shouting, "Hey! Leave her alone!".

The two figures stop, turning around and look at the fairy, meanwhile, Lani now sees the two figures, seeing them to be a pair of dark orcs covered in red robes with an insignia on the right shoulder but Lani can't make it out.

Just then the dark orcs begin laughing as they look at Lani, the one on her left saying, "Ooh, look! A little fairy, come to rescue the cat! How scary!".

The two dark orcs laugh again, they calm down a little as the one on the right talks this time, "This has nothing to do with you fairy! Now go before we squash you!".

The dark orcs turn back around to face the cat but their words fill Lani with anger as she shouts once again, "Leave.. her.. alone!".

The dark orcs turn back around, the left one saying, "Alright! Now, we squish you little bug!".

The dark orcs begin making their way toward Lani. The fairy now completely filled with fear as the towering thugs stomp closer and closer.

Just then, the cat gets off of the ground, running up and extending her claws, slashing the back of the legs of the dark orc on Lani's left before jumping up and slashing at the side of the face of the one on Lani's right. The cat then quickly runs to the street while shouting, "C'mon fairy!" .

Lani begins flying alongside the cat as fast as she can while they flee around the corner. Just then, they come up on the Kreaky Kauldron and Lani says, "In here! Quick!".

The duo rush inside and head toward the stairs as quickly as possible. They rapidly ascend the steps and quickly get to the third floor. They then start running down the hallway but that's when they're stopped by John and Kyuala.

The duos now stand face-to-face as John and Lani simultaneously say, "Lani?".

"John?".

The cat and the orc also look at each other as they say, "Kyuala?".

"Amilia?".
