Left (Red)

Normally you'd think going down a red hallway over a blue one was a poor call, after all, red can be used to signify danger or to advise caution, with stop signs to stop you crossing, to keep you safe, it's also the color of blood which has it own slew of mental associations of being bad. Although you did hear once that some cultures find it fortunate color, and you've seen red envelopes given out around Chinese new years and besides it's also got the representation of love through valentines stuff, hearts, roses although that led your brain to go what people use valentines day for, as a holiday to try and seduce and woo people into bed, not everyone admittedly but that was what you were hoping to avoid in this maze, so you shook your head, and focus on continuing through the maze, before you begin to doubt your choice.

The hallway leads on through a few quick twists and turns and it's sufficient for you to lose you bearings and this meant you weren't too sure which way you came from, although that said you had no idea what the size of the Maze was so it was all academic really. For all, you knew the center of the maze could very well be the way you came but with no way to verify this you had to blindly carry on and hope that your judgment would steer you to safety rather than head first into danger.

Eventually your round another corner until you come across another long hallway, but this one was had another message this time on the side of the wall part way down, and you could see markings on the red floor, but not clearly enough at this distance, so you carry on until you can better see them both. This time the writing is black and rather than tiara's dotting the eye's it seems like the eye's looked like they were sperms, which you found a little distasteful.

'If you want to get across unimpeded, then it's recommended that you hop to it, If it were me I'd try and stick to the odd's, but then again I like to play the odds.'

A strange message that's for sure and you don't care much for the sperm-shaped I's, but as you look at the floor and suddenly it makes a bit more sense as you see various numbers carved into the different tiles. By your reckoning the clue you were given was to hop from each odd number, which seemed simple enough, but then there was the end of the writing, about the writer liking to play the odd's. You not sure if it there was some double meaning to it, or if you're just being paranoid. You look back at the floor and study the numbers and it seems like you could hop across using even numbers or odd numbers easily enough, so now all you had to do was decide if you trusted the advice of the note or not.
