Leave it all behind

Vanessa and Lauren talked to each other for a good 30 minutes going back and forth on their options. “We could leave it all right now. It would mean that mom would keep all the inheritance, but we would be free of all of the drama she brings us,” Vanessa said.

“Or we could give Michelle what she deserves, but that would leave us with nothing,” Lauren said.

“I think we should just walk away. We never have to worry about that bitch again. I don’t even care if she’s a millionaire. I just want to put an end to the drama,” Vanessa said.

“I agree,” Lauren said. “I don’t like it, but I think it’s our best option. Plus Luna’s been really helpful to us.”

“Yeah,” Vanessa said glancing at Luna as she gave David a towel to wrap himself with and Megan a bathrobe. “Let’s take her offer.”

Vanessa turned to Luna and said. “Alright, we’ve come to a decision we will take your offer. We will walk away from the inheritance and start over.”
