After Percy was humiliated after reading the book with Alice, he was so mad he just wanted to get away from there. Percy had enough, and since he couldn't stand how disrespectful Alice was to his deceased wife, he didn't care about what she wanted, and decided to just put a stop to this hangout, even if it made Alice hate him even more.

"Okay, that was fun... but that's enough for today, we are leaving..." - Percy said with a calm tone, trying to hide his anger, which not only surprised Alice, but also made her react aggressively.

"What? No... I'm not leaving!!... it is not my fault you are such a horrible being and your book was so stupid!" - Alice exclaimed after being shocked, and very annoyed at Percy's behavior. She was genuinely disappointed she couldn't read more books, even though she hated the first one she read, but she was also mad at Percy for acting like this, which even though he knew he was acting like a child, Alice's response made him impatient.

"Yes, we are leaving... i don't care what you think, we are going..." - Percy replied with a frustrated expression, as he grabbed Alice's arm, and pulled her away from the table. It was clear Alice didn't want to leave, she was resisting a lot, but she lost all interest in reading more books when she realized Percy was really angry, from how irritated he was by Alice reaction to the book.

So while Percy forced Alice to leave the library, she didn't do much apart from complaining. Alice stopped forcing, as she gave up trying to convince Percy, she now really thought he was pathetic for reacting like that, but she was glad she realized how he really was, instead of reading more about his trashy fictional adventures, and his terrible love interest for centuries ago, which Alice only hated even more now.

Since this was such a disaster, Percy thought a couple things he could do with Alice in the future, to maybe get her to like him, or at least not hate him so much. And now that they both left the playroom, Alice seemed to calm down, but still very angry at Percy. And although he didn't know what they could do next, he thought of something he could say to her, to unfortunately end their time together for today, but at least end it like he wanted, or that's what Percy hoped for.
