Lauren tells the truth

Lauren looked at the girls again, thinking about it. True they were a lot stronger than Lauren (much to Lauren’s humiliation), but with Jessie here, there was no way that they could carry out that threat. In a case of sugar coated irony, Jessie was her ticket away from these brats…right? Regardless, Lauren turned towards Jessie to answer her.

“No, it’s not true!” Lauren said. “I was playing in the sandbox and those girls pinned me down and tickled me until I wet my diaper! They even pulled my pigtails and pushed me into the sand!”

The girls glared at Lauren. How dare this punk rat them out! Louise snarled; the kid was going to regret her actions.

Jessie, on the other hand, was shocked by this. She actually thought that Lauren would go with the other story. Inwardly shrugging, Jessie had a couple of backup plans to humiliate Lauren.

Firstly, she noticed how the girls were looking at Lauren for squealing on them. She could easily tell their mothers, making them even angrier at Lauren; thus feeding her to the wolves. Plus, she could find out just how much these immature eighteen year olds could make the life of twenty-five year old Lauren a nightmare that she couldn’t wake up from.

On the other hand, she could easily accuse Lauren of lying. After all, neither the girls nor Lauren knew that Jessie had saw the whole thing unfold; and Lauren probably wouldn’t find out until Jessie put the video of Lauren playing in a sandbox online. She could still find a way to humiliate the little woman that way.
