Lauren bets her boots

Lauren decided that her boots were probably her best bet. Scooting in closer to make sure that she was hidden well, Lauren quickly removed her boots before sitting them on the table.

The two women then looked over their cards for several seconds, only looking up to switch out and replace cards. After a few minutes, Lauren's smirk returned as she loudly cackled. She threw her hand down, revealing four Kings and an Ace.

"Ha! Four of a kind!" Lauren smugly said, "Try beating that!"

Rose gave a smirk of her own as she laid out her cards. An Ace, a King, a Queen, a Jack, and a Ten of spades; another straight flush!

Lauren felt her eye begin to twitch as Rose removed the boots and shirt from the table, sitting them both on her winning pile. She growled as she shuffled the cards again. This had to be some kind of beginners luck! There was no way she would lose twice in a row! As she laid out the cards again, she saw Rose sitting her boots onto the table as her wager.

Lauren growled again as she removed her socks, laying them on the table as well before picking up her cards. She looked over her hand and smirked as Rose exchanged three cards for three more.

Smugly, Lauren laid out her cards. A King, a Queen, a Jack, a Ten, and a Nine of clubs. "So Rosie," she quipped, "think you can best that?"
