Later That Evening !

Lauren was curled up on the sofa, trying to ignore her enforced nudity and not to give the mad woman any further excuse to punish her. She was idly leafing through the same wretched magazine that had so engrossed her so that she had not given the attention that she should have done to what Patty was doing when she first got into this mess just a few short hours ago. This time the magazine did not have her full attention. She was going over in her mind how she could get out of this crazy situation. Sure, it would all be ultimately resolved once her neighbour Sharon returned in a couple of days but she could not wait that long. Especially now that Mildred had deemed she would remain naked for the duration !

She was jolted out of her reverie by the sound of the ringing doorbell. "Don't you bother yourself, I'll go and answer it" said Mildred sarcastically. Lauren began to hyperventilate. What now ? Was it those two obnoxious girls from upstairs returning to taunt her again ? There seemed to be a number of competing voices. How many people for goodness sake ? Lauren heard Mildred's voice cutting through the general hubbub. "Well, you'd better all come on through. Don't mind little Lauren. She's just being punished for being naughty !"

Lauren fled towards the kitchen just as the door from the hallway began to open !
