Running through the Valley, Arrows sticking from his Back, Dagger in his Gut, and Armor Badly Damaged. Caierigaen continued to push Forward. He hoped to find protection from his mother, but once these Whoreson's stuck him with Thirty Two Arrows, he wound up in Kaedwen. Now he hoped to loose them in the Valley.

He found his way to an old Signal Tower where he tried to Light a Signal Fire to try and Draw his Pursuers to a False Location. Giving him more time to get a decent head start and time to tend to his injuries, allowing to further escape, hopefully to somewhere Remote and uninhabited, Allowing greater Freedom.

As he Lit the Fire he was struck by an arrow from behind and fell off the Ledge hitting the rocks and damaging the arrows sticking out of him. He woke and begin ro crawl weakly, but then he was shot again in his left Shoulder as his pursuers came to look at him. That was When there was a snapping of twigs and a shadow came to stand in front of him. ''You Aren't Welcome Here! Leave Now!'' Says the Shadow as he attacks with his Sword. Caierigaen stays down for most of it until he looks up upon feeling a hand on his shoulder.

Looking up to see a Sour Looking man, he speaks a Sentence before Collapsing: ''School of the Viper!'' He says clutching his Viper's Medalion.
