Hours later.

“Honey, I am home.” said Billy as he entered the house.

He walked to the living room, expecting that his wife was in the living room.

She was indeed in the living room. At first, Billy thought Ella was watching those exaggerated soap operas she always like to watch, but when he looked closer on the scene played, he realized that it wasn’t a soap opera but porn. Ella was watching a porn on their big TV screen! And it was an interracial porn to boot.

“Ella, what the hell are you watching?” Shouted Billy in shock.

“It’s a porn movie titled ‘the nymphomaniac wife addicted to the black neighbor big black cock.’ The woman in the movie, Jasmine a.k.a Jizzmine Cockgobbler is an aspiring artist, what a coincidence right? Billy opened his mouth but there was no voice coming from him. He didn't know what to say. He felt like he was just eating a fly. He disliked that his wife was watching porn, but he couldn’t stop his wife from watching porn because watching porn is normal for a woman of Lavender Vale.

Billy let out a frustrated sigh before putting a smiling expression on his face. He needed to be supportive to his wife who was trying to adapt to their new place with her trying to become a proper woman of Lavender Vale.

“Sorry, I’m over reacting. You can continue watching the porn, don’t mind my previous outburst. Anyway, nice hot clothes you wear, did you just buy it? I never seen you wear this one before.”

After calming down, Billy finally noticed some other detail he didn’t notice before, like the clothes his wife wore. She was wearing a porn parody costume of a nurse made from latex. “Huh, why?” Billy was confused after hearing what Ella said. They have a big wardrobe in their bedroom, in their old place, it was filled with his clothes and Ella clothes together.

“Don’t you hear me that the previous owner left me a lot of dress and costumes? Where do you think I can keep them? I need to make a place for them. Hence, I can only move your clothes out.”

“You also need to sleep on your study for now.”

“Wait, why? I understand about the wardrobe, but why do I need to sleep in my study too instead of our bedroom?”

“I can’t let you sleep with me. A woman of Lavender Vale needs to be independent from her husband even if they live together.”

“I still don’t understand the correlation between being an independent woman and not letting me sleep in our bedroom?”

“Oh, it’s related dear, an independent woman means they didn’t get controlled by their man. An independent woman means they have the right to decide their actions without considering how a man will feel. It’s my right to deny you or let you sleep with me. For now, I just want to feel that I am in control.”

“That sounds selfish.” Billy blurted.

“Selfish? See, you already want to **** yourself on me. It’s you who is selfish, you have promised me yesterday that you will never be mean to me,” Ella said in a raised voice, her once relaxed expression now fully serious.

“Okay, okay, I know my fault, I'm sorry, I will sleep in my study until you let me back to the master bedroom.” Billy knew that arguing with his wife was pointless at this point and would only escalate the tension. He didn’t want to harm their marriage with trivial issues.

He left her alone in the living room and entered his study. He saw a plastic bag full of his neatly folded clothes. Billy changed to a more casual wear and then he noticed something placed on his desk that took his attention. It was three pieces of yellowish worn-out paper.

Billy read the content of the paper, and his expression grew grave. He lacked the context of these notes, but he could sum it as Samuel was holding some big secret. Samuel might be more dangerous than what he once considered. But without much proof, he couldn’t call the authorities to apprehend Samuel.

Billy’s mistake was when he thought that the secret was related with the HOA rules and tradition. His programming to not make a big fuss about the HOA rule and tradition kicked in and made him take a passive stance of wait and see until he got further proof. At first, he wanted to warn Brenda when she came to their place tomorrow to be wary of Samuel, but Billy changed his mind, he didn’t want to overreact. He believed Brenda would be fine. Anyway, Brenda wasn’t someone from this community, so she wouldn’t need to necessarily follow the community's rules.
