Kory wins the Fight.

Spreading her shapely, long legs to get a solid stand Kory clenched her fists and let them glow in green fire. The other woman smiled but ducked to defend. Kory knew that she had only a limited quantity of Starbolts but no exact notion of how many. And she had no idea how dangerous the other woman was for real. So she fired a weak blow at her to test their limits. A good idea because the Woman was very swift. When the bolt had passed half the way to its mark she was already a foot away from her former position. The Starbolt vanished useless into the jungle.

Now Koriand´r knew that the strange woman was mobile. And that she would probably need more than one bolt to hit her.

But the other woman was not stupid. From her jink she started a attack by herself. Ducking she held her forearm before her chest so her stingers showed to Kory. Suddenly three of them shoot out of the mass and hit Korys chest. They recoiled, but the might of the blow hurt the Girl.

She was thankful to have a robust skin, but she was sure that the woman could also make harder blows, that could penetrate her skin. Again she had no idea how dangerous this could be.

With a wicked smile Korys opponent curled herself to make a roll to her left. Doing so she now shot a thick stinger at Korys left Arm from the back of her Head. The gold-skinned girl herself was jumping to the right so both moved in the same direction. The stinger made only a scratch on Korys upper arm but now she knew that she must end this battle quickly. The other woman was too dangerous to give her a chance to use her stingers.

Kory used her power to fire two middle-strong Blows left and right of the woman followed by a third blow between them in the same second.

Her idea worked. The other woman suspected that she only could move fore- or backward, so she made a turn forward to stand before the redhead, hoping to surprise and entangle her into a melee was fully streaked by the third Starbolt.

The mighty blow of Energy hit her Body. She screamed when she was pushed some yards back on the ground. Her Body shacked and electrostatic flashes ran over her body. Then she lay there, - motionless.

Kory carefully moved to her and observed her motionless body for live signs. She saw the woman breath and began to move backwards to the now clear path. When she reached the plant-border, Kory turned quickly and moved into the jungle. She had won her first challenge, but she felt sick. This was a real battle, of course, but this victory had a bad taste. She guessed that Ssakcik would be unpleasant with his unsuccessful **** and that the woman, unknown to her how heavily she had injured her would further be punished.

But, better her than Kory. The Tamaran girl was sure she must stand more evil traps and fights, and she could feel that her Star-energy was reduced a remarkable quantity.

And now, when she reached a fork in the path she was only 50 yards nearer to the tower, than at the Point where she has started.
