Keep Hiking

You keep hiking through out the desert, step after step. You're body is so hot from the sun. You're guzzling your water constantly, keeping your body hydrated. You only have about 1/2 a gallon left. "Shit..." you mumble "Not much more water..." you look at the pouch before placing it back into your sack.

Another 30 minutes go by, trek after trek into the sand. The dry air blowing against your skin, causing you to lose even more water.

At that point you look up towards the sky. That's when you finally notice it. The mountain pass. The huge stone mountain pass with giant stone figures. The Sicilian Syndicate was in the middle of a giant mountain range. Surrounded by impassable mountains on three sides and a narrow path on the southern side that is the only way on foot.

You look up at the mountains as that's when you really see it. The mountains carved into beasts. Giant beasts with huge fangs coming out of their mouths. Fangs, sharp as can be, carved of stone, trying to instill fear into any kingdom that tries to attack them.
