Kate Bishop

Kate Bishop grew up rich and spoiled. She was a gifted athlete and won countless awards, mostly for archery and fencing. Eventually, through a twist of fate she ended up joining the Young Avengers with gear stolen from Hawkeye. Hawkeye and her later became partners and he gave her permission to use the name and his equipment.

Kate is skilled, fast and smart. In many ways she's Hawkeye's equal, and in some she is his better. She's also naive and has the same self destructive thrill seeking issues as Clint Barton. She's driven by a powerful desire to prove herself and do the right thing.

Kate is in her early 20's. She's tall, thin and somewhat lanky. She wears a purple costume with her bow, but forgoes a mask. She operates out of both LA and New York and has been on several different super hero teams. She has many enemies including Madame Mask, Kingpin, and Kang the Conqueror.
