Karen wants to swim naked.

“I know we’ve just met, but I actually prefer to go naked at the beach," Karen confessed. "When I noticed that I wasn't alone, I was kind of bummed. Now that we're both topless, maybe I can just strip down like I had originally planned?"

"Um," Erica responded. This was a surprising turn of events.

"Would you mind if I took off my bikini bottoms?” Karen continued. "If it’ll make you uncomfortable, I’ll keep them on.”

Erica was still trying to process the situation. The two of them still barely knew each other. They were practically strangers! Finally, she realized that there might be a way for her to get out of this situation. “When I said I was topless, I lied," Erica responded. "I’m actually naked!"

This wasn’t reducing the embarrassment she felt being caught naked by a stranger, but at least it would level the playing field. “Go ahead and get naked if you want.”

“Thanks," Karen grinned. "Swimming naked is so much better. I guess you already knew that, though.” Her hands disappeared under the water to remove her bikini bottoms as Erica frowned at her presumption.
