Karen decides to work on her tan.

"The sun's nice, I'll tan first and then go for a swim," Karen thought. "Hopefully that other person will leave soon." Karen had decided to come to this specific beach because she wanted an all-over tan. Ordinarily, this beach allowed her the privacy to just that.

As she was setting up her blanket, she realized that she could still get an all-over tan. "All I have to do is position my bag in such a way that neither of us can see each other. I can tan naked without exposing myself and I'll leave my sarong nearby to cover up with when I hear them get out."

Pleased with herself, she placed her bag so that it wouldn't cast a shadow on her, but more importantly, that it would preserve her modesty. Then she lay down on her blanket, and removed her bikini top. After checking in the direction of the ocean to see if the other person wasn't coming closer, she untied her bikini bottoms and pulled them off.

"That's better," Karen thought to herself. "There's nothing better than being naked on a beach. Unless you're alone."

As Karen lay on the beach tanning, Erica was trying to come up with a way of getting out of the water and back to her clothes. Without being seen. "She appears to be tanning, even though I can't really see her.
