Chapter 12 by TheArchitect TheArchitect

Jen must take a course in her actions.

Just go further.

"I better start moving again before I forget that I gotta get out of here."

"That would be a much easier way to solve all of your problems."

"Tempting. But I still have some fight in me!"

So she stood up with help of her hands, and marched onward against the resistance of both the dress' narrowness and the heels' height. After a lot of hard steps, Jen discovered that the wall went 90 degrees to the right before soon returning to the original direction. Jen thought this was weird until her fingers met the polished handle of a handrail.

"A staircase down? Am I really on the right way?"

Her shoe slowly started to move towards it, but at that moment the ankle straps produced two snaps that could be both felt and heard.

"What was that?"

In twenty seconds, the snaps repeated.

"If they do this while I'm going down, I'll be rolling down instead."

While Jen was questioning herself, she heard quiet saxophone music coming from somewhere on this floor. She had a picture of a bar in her mind right away.

"I spent a lot of happy and irresponsible nights in bars and clubs... If there are more people in this crazy mall, this would be the surest place to find them."

So she moved over there instead. The snaps stopped, and the girl felt it was right to take this direction, just like always in her life.

She enters the bar, right? (TBD)
