I swung the door open and tried to make a beeline to my room. Recognizing the situation I was, I knew it would be trouble if I encountered any of my roommates. My best solution was to hide away until Violet found a solution.
After taking note that the living room and kitchen were empty, I mentally cheered. Throwing my shoes off as soon as I could, I dashed towards the hallway leading to my room. I just had to make it past the other girls' bedroom, as well as their bathroom and I was home free.
Nearly sprinting through the hallway, I had no time to react when Juliet suddenly stepped out of the bathroom.
"Oh fuck!" I yelped just before impact, and the two of us went down. A burst of steam came over us as we fell on the cold ground.
Juliet must have recovered before me, because when I had my bearings again, I could hear her voice saying, "Hey what the fuck, Christy?"
I shook my head, still trying to get myself together.
Suddenly, Juliet's voice changed. It went from anger to confusion and... curiosity?
"Wait," her voice paused. "wha-"
