Journey to the springs

The three of you leave town as you start the hour-long voyage to the springs. Talking along the way you learn a little bit about Gilly. Apparently, he’s the son of a sponsor to the guild. His mother arranged him a job there to teach him about running a business. Gilly expresses much more interest in being an adventurer though, and is hoping to weasel his way out of it. Twenty minutes into your hike, Gilly suddenly stops and looks into the woods off the road.

“Ooo look a cave!” Gilly says abruptly pointing to a rock formation.

“Er yeah, that is a cave.” You say unsure of his intentions.

“What if it’s a super secret short cut to the springs? Shouldn’t we check it out?”

“I’d doubt that Gilly, more likely full o’ bears.”

“Can we check it out really quick? I’ve never explored a cave before.” Gilly says. clearly eager to investigate.
