Jonathon and Buffy are too tender

"This is embarrassing, guys!" Buffy whined.

Jonathon, for his part, was also worried about Buffy's feelings. While he had never really seriously considered that he could ever even kiss Buffy, Jonathon had put the Slayer up on a pedestal from which he wasn't worthy.

"Uhm, if it's all the same to Willow, I feel very humiliated. Or you could humiliate me with someone else?"

Willow looked between Buffy and Jonathon, not completely understanding but getting the gist of the situation.

"Buffy, why don't you take Jonathon upstairs to be punished," Tara suggested helpfully.

Relieved, Buffy grabbed her clothes and Jonathon's hand. "C'mon, you, you're not getting out of this so easily."

Did Jonathon detect a note of playfulness in Buffy's voice?
