John's father burst in

"Ok, John. Then let's start." Dr. Valentine took her pendulum and let it swing from side to side. Seconds later John was once more into trance.

Dr. Valentine wanted to start further hypnozing the boy, as suddenly the door burst open.

"What the hell is going on here?" A furious man shouted. It was John's father.

"Sorry, Dr. Valentine. But I couldn't he just stormed in." The receptionist apologized from behind the man.

"Don't worry, Sarah." Dr. Valentine said towards her receptionist. "And who are you?" She asked the intruder.

"I'm this .... boys father! And I demand an explanation of what's going on!" John's father had some trouble to address his son as a boy with his current look.

"Ah, you are John's father. Good that you have come. I wanted to talk to you too." Dr. Valentine pointed to the free place on the couch beside John for his father to sit down. Over the last few years she had a lot of relatives and friends of her patients bursting on like John's father did. So she was used to it and knew that she had to talk to them in a calm way. It also was a benefit for her. This way she got another patient to mess with. "I was just about to continue my therapy with your son, so it's a good timing."

"What have you done with John?" The father asked after sitting down. "Is it because of you that he looks like this?"

"I'll tell you, but first let me show you something." Dr. Valentine let the pendulum swing again. "Follow the pendulum with your eyes. Concentrate on the pendulum swinging from side to side, from side to side, from side to side." She said slowly and saw how the father too fell into trance. She put on a wicked smile seeing that she now had two patients.

She put the pendulum down, stood up and walked towards the door. "Sarah, could you help me moving the father to the neighboring room?" She asked her receptionist.

"With pleasure, Dr. Valentine." She answered and helped the therapist with a smile.
