Jean shorts and a tank top

This wasn't a super formal affair, so Nancy looked at the dresses in her closet and shrugged. They were too much. She considered one of her skirts and a top, but some of the skirts weren't sexy enough, and some of them were too short and risked showing off her shapewear. A pair of jean cut-offs, at just the right length, would hide the folds and cellulite where her butt was tucked into her spanx, but show off enough to compete with her rival.

She had to bring a dish, so she cooked up some Chili. Hoping to see Charlotte's face when she tasted it, she made it extra hot. As she drove to Lauren's house, she wondered who Charlotte's date would be this time. She bit her lip in anticipation of her plan for ****: looking so hot she stole Charlotte's date for a change. When she finally arrived, she took a deep breath, checked her makeup in her rear-view mirror, picked up the bowl of piping-hot chili, and walked up to the front door.

Lauren was well-off, so the party was in the back. There was a pool there, and a catering tent had been set up for the party. Nancy hadn't brought a swimsuit, as her shaping garments would be hard to hide under one. It was early in the evening, so the crowd was milling about with wine and cocktails, greeting one another, while the DJ was keeping the music subdued. After greeting Lauren with a hug, she put her down of chili down on one of the buffet tables, and scanned the crowd for Charlotte.

In spite of the number of people present, finding Charlotte was a simple task. Her flame-red hair stood out in the crowd as much as her white dress. Nancy seethed, she looked better than ever, if that was possible. But where was her date? That's when she saw her. Claudine, the other beauty queen from their high school days brought two glasses of wine over to Charlotte. They hugged and had a quick kiss.

Nancy's mind raced. Did Claudine know Lauren at all? She didn't think so. Did she come as Charlotte's date? The date she'd be trying to steal? Were either of them bisexual? Nancy almost turned around and left then. Her plan was in shambles. Claudine had been meaner to her than Charlotte ever was, she'd have no chance of stealing a date that had already mocked her for four years. That's when Charlotte saw her, and called her over.

Nancy wanted to pretend she hadn't noticed, but Lauren came up behind her. "Oh, hey, Charlotte really wanted to talk to you. She says you know her new girlfriend." Now Nancy was caught. If she walked away at this point, Charlotte would win another round. But her instincts were telling her to run.
