January 30th 20xx

Dear Diary,

There have been strange reports of a virus going on in China, an unknown virus is going and it's been causing widespread panic and I am really worried. Our President told us it's nothing serious and we have been told to continue as if everything's fine. I just hope everything will stay perfectly fine throughout the rest of the year!

I am doing perfectly fine. Luckily Claire and Kisha are there to make my day even better! Kisha plans to go to India for a holiday to meet some of her extended family members. I hear they have great big weddings there in India. She told me that she plans to bring some souvenirs! I am super excited just thinking about it!
