Chapter 13 by thestarwarrior thestarwarrior

Should you hide or confront the man?

Jane confronts him.

As the armed man steps out, you consider ducking back into the woods after all its dose look like you are stealing his furs when suddenly Jane calls out. “Hey Collen, it’s been a while.”

He froze for a moment before responding, “Jane? What are you doing out here?”

“It’s a long story dear,” she replied with a lot more familiarity in her voice than you were comfortable with, “Why don’t you put that thing away first before you put someone’s eye out.”

He thinks for a moment before disarming the bow and lowering it. Now that you weren’t at risk of being shot anymore, you and Jane step out wrapped in the furs. The moment he sees you, his cheeks turn bright red, which is understandable as two lovely ladies had just stepped out into the light wearing nothing but bear furs.

As Jane approaches him, she gives him a flirty smile while looking sweet and venerable. It’s enough to make you blush and fume all at once. He had to have been the son she was referring to earlier, and you had to admit you could see why Jane would sleep with him. He was tall and handsome with light skin, a healthy upper body, and dark hair. He still looked relatively young, around your age, as he had little to no facial hair.

“So, uh Jane,” he asked arching a brow, “Why are you and this woman in the nude.” He paused for a moment, “Never mind. I know the answer to that already, why are you out here in the nude.”

Your cheeks turned bright red when you realize that your current state of undress alongside a well-known slut could make people jump to conclusions. Granted, they were the correct conclusions but still.

Jane chuckled when she saw your reaction then turned back to Collen. “Sorry to bother you like this Collen but we just barely escaped an orc raid without lives. We're cold, tired, and hungry. Not to mention neck.”

“Orcs?” you heard a worried voice from behind Collen. A moment later, a lovely young woman stepped out from behind him. She had soft rosy skin, full curves, and dark brown hair witch she kept tied in a ponytail about mid-neck. Unlike Collen, she didn’t seem too familiar with Jane, or at least not “that” familiar with her, however, she did seem awfully close to Collen. “Honey, douse the lights and bar the doors, I’ll tend to the girls.”

Your cheeks turned red when you realized just who Collen was. He wasn’t the son; he was the husband. Thankfully his wife didn’t seem to know about this. In fact, she looked downright oblivious to the fact that her husband was standing outside with two nude, beautiful girls.

Collen gave her a warm smile and lightly ran his hand through his wife’s hair. “I’ll get right on it, Shari. Don’t worry. I won’t let anything happen to you.” With that, he kissed her lips and made his way into the house.

Shari then turned to you and Jane, “Oh, do come in, I’ll bring you some fresh clothes and some warm food. Did they rape either of you?”

“Just me,” said Jane popping her back, “Don’t worry, I’ve had worse lovers.”

You roiled your eyes before fallowing Shari into the house. While Shari’s back was turned, you leaned over to Jane and said through gritted teeth, “Him too?”

Jane smirked and whispered back to you, “If it helps, he wasn’t married at the time.”

“Was he single?” you said in a hushed growl.

She rolled her eyes, “You need to loosen up, darling.”

Later that night after being provided with warm food and fresh cloth, you, Jane, Shari, and Collen met in the den to discuss your next move. Collen had already boarded the doors and doused most of the lights, so all you had to light the room was a dim candle.

“What should we do,” said Shari as she cuddled up to her husband, “The orcs never come this far inland. They typically stick to sending small raiding parties to capture young maidens.”

“Well we can’t stay here,” said Collen, “Tomorrow I’ll step out and check to see if the orcs are anywhere near the town. If so then we will head to Port Lana in the north, they should have a strong garrison there.”

“You can’t go out there alone!” said Shari, “What if the orcs spot you?”

“She’s right,” said Jane, “If anything, we should head out under cover of darkness.”

“It’s too dangerous,” said Collen shaking his head, “Not only would we be dealing with orcs but the other monsters in the woods. It’s safer for you girls this way.”

“Safer for us!?” said Shari in a worried tone, “What if something happened to you?”

Collen let out a long sigh before hugging his wife in his strong arms, “I’ll be careful. But just in case, if dusk sets and I’m not back, make for the north.”

Shari trembled and hugged her husband close, burying her head into his muscular chest. You witnessed the terror of the orcs first hand. If he were caught, he would not be coming back. It might be best if you slipped out now before the orcs arrived, but there was no telling what kind of monsters would be lurking in the night.

Should you wait out the night?
