We all have our types: the gamers, the artists, and then there’s Jacob. To anyone else, he might just look like a guy sitting too still in his chair, but Jacob is deep in the trenches of the "goon" subculture. He has become a permanent fixture of the more intense corners of the internet—a dedicated gooner with eyes permanently bloodshot from staring at high-octane content across multiple monitors. His life revolves around the dopamine hits of specialized fap servers, where he spends hours lost in a trance of endless scrolling and heavy, singular focus.

Today, the house was quiet, save for the rhythmic sounds coming from below. Downstairs in the basement workshop, his dad was busy, tinkering on one of his projects.
