Jack

Miranda opened the door with a smile on her face. And half a second later, her smile instantly vanished and was replaced with a scowl.

"Oh, it's you." Miranda spat.

"Hey, Miri..."

Shepard peeked out from her cover at the sound of that voice. Sure enough, she saw that none other than Jack was standing in the doorway, the tattooed biotic rubbing the back of her neck.

"It's Miranda, Jack." The towel clad woman said sourly, "You lost the right to call me that after what you did. Speaking of which, shouldn't you be getting back to your four other Asari girlfriends?"

"I told you already, those bitches don't mean anything to me!" Jack yelled defensively, "I was -"

"Yeah, yeah, yeah. I know! 'I was drunk'!" Miranda snapped, saying the last part in a mocking tone. She then glared and huffed angrily at her ex-girlfriend. "Cut the malarkey, Zero! I've seen you drunk countless of times back when we were dating! You were still somewhat sober enough to tell up from down, let alone know not to cheat on your girlfriend with four Asari women at the same time!"

"You know, the difference between you and me is that I would've believed you when you said that was some strong ass rum and forgiven you for the mistake!"

"No. The difference between you and I is that I wouldn't have made that "mistake" in the first place!" Miranda snapped back before taking a deep breath. "What are you even doing here, Jack? I told you I'm not taking you back."

"Please!" Jack pleaded, actually surprising Jane as she watched the normally tough as nails biotic fall to her knees and wrap her arms around Miranda's bare legs. "You have no idea what you've done to me! I'm a complete wreck without you!"

"Jack! Get off me!" Miranda shouted pulling her legs away.

"I can't eat! I can't sleep! I need you back!" Jack begged, surprising Jane even more as hot tears ran down the formers face. "What do you want me to do?! Give up drinking? Already done! Give up swearing? This mouth has let out it's last fuc- er, F-Bomb! You want the tattoos gone?! Say no more! I know a guy in Omega that can remove these in a heartbeat! Please! Just tell me what I have to do!"

Jane actually felt a pang of guilt go through her as she watched Jack being reduced to a begging wreck, knowing that it was a good portion her own fault.

Years before she and Miranda started dating, Jack and Miranda were practically attached at the hip... Much to the surprise of literally everyone! On the night in question that both women were referring to, Jane and Jack had gone out to a bar at the latter's request, ordering the strongest booze they had. When Jane had asked what the occasion was, Jack explained that she had plans to marry Miranda, and wanted one last night of drinking with the woman who was her best man before the two downed an imported Krogan rum...

Which was how Jane ended up waking up in the middle of town before running back to her home wearing only a newspaper covering her front and an old pizza box over her butt, completely unaware about what had happened to Jack.

After getting home and dressed, Jane had asked EDI to look over the **** contents of this imported drink. Much to her shock, it had enough to knock out three elephants!

Or render two heavy drinkers like her and Jack completely black out drunk.

But that wasn't the end of it.

Jane had already gone thru a bad breakup with Liara two days prior to her and Jack doing who knew what. She was just about to ask EDI for any clues about what Jack had gotten up to last night when the AI alerted her to an arrival at the door.

Opening the door, Jane had found Miranda standing there, the woman practically wailing as she threw herself into Jane's arms. After inviting her in and interrogating her on what was wrong, Miranda informed Jane that Jack had cheated on her with four Asari at once! And worst yet, she had done so in Miranda's apartment!

Jane then realized what had happened to the tattooed biotic.

She was about to explain to Miranda what had happened the night before, but was immediately stopped when Miranda kissed her. It felt good. It felt really good! Soon, one thing had led to another, and the two were soon laying in Jane's bed, naked under the covers as Miranda snuggled into the other woman.

After Miranda had fallen asleep, Jane got up from her bed and thought about what had happened. She hadn't had a love making experience that amazing since... Actually, she wouldn't admit it to the Shadow Broker's face, but Miranda was better than Liara had been! She couldn't lose this!

And so, in her weakened mind that was filled with rage at Liara and lust at the amazing love making from Miranda, Jane had done something that, to this day after she realized what she had done, filled her with guilt: She ordered EDI to delete all memory of the rum in question.

Which brought us to this very moment, Jane watching from her hiding spot as she watched Miranda let out a sigh before looking down at Jack.
