"One of your friends traveling with you bet the flight attendants that she could get you completely naked without waking you up." Erica looked to where the flight attendant was indicating to see strawberry-blonde hair sitting a few rows ahead. It was Carrie.

"Actually, the flight crew are rather upset with you," the flight attendant continued.

"Me? Why?" Erica asked in surprise.

"You just cost the flight crew $500.00." Erica's eyes bugged at this revelation. "And you cost the Captain and the co-pilot another $250.00 each!"

Erica's jaw dropped. How had Carrie conned all these people out of $1,000.00, she wondered, incredulously.

"We all just figured that there was no way that somebody could sleep through being stripped naked that way," the flight attendant continued. "Anyways, what can I do for you, ma'am?"

"I need clothes!" Erica whisper-yelled at her.

"I'm sorry, ma'am, but that is really not something that we, as an airline, are prepared to assist you with."

Erica cowered under the blanket that she had been sleeping under, the only cover for her naked body. The seat-belt indicator flashed and she could hear the Captain making an announcement over the intercom. "Flight crew prepare for deboarding."

The plane stopped moving as it had reached the gate and the flight attendant regarded Erica briefly. "Ma'am, I'll need to insist that you prepare to disembark. Company policy states that passengers can't keep blankets after landing. I will have to confiscate it." The flight attendant reached for the blanket.
