"I had to clear a little space in my schedule as it turns out John, but I was able to make it," Selena tells you as she arrives at your door in the shimmering silver shirt and little black mini skirt she is in, looking like she is dressed for something more than just a dinner date.

"You look fabulous tonight Selena," you tell her as you leave for the date with her, your mind already wandering to other things as you do.

"You know, it's kind of nice to get away to a place like this with a normal guy like you and be normal for a while," Selena confides to you as you are having dinner with her, both of you finding it harder to keep your minds on anything but getting to know the other one better.

"The funny thing is if this ever became more than just a one-time date, we would have a story to tell about how we first met," you tease her, Selena's eyes dancing as she laughed about the absurdity of the whole thing.

"It was just a stupid contest..." she finishes, her whole demeanor changing once the waiter brings the check.

"Don't you EVER think someone like you could ever have a shot with someone like me," she continues, plopping down a large sum of money on the table and getting up to go.

"Selena...I never said you had earned my vote yet..." you hiss, turning to follow her out the door, intent on making her give you the one thing you really wanted her before that would happen.

Especially since she led you on and played you for a fool.
