It didn’t work, but he plays along.

Naruto sat there as if watching a movie. He couldn’t really control his body but he could see and hear what was going on around him.

It was like there was a fog in his head that was being blocked out by a red shield around him, so instead of messing with his brain it was playing a movie.

His knee jerk reaction to Satsuki’s actions was anger, but as she went on he found himself blushing and agreeing to a lot of what she said without any sort of Hypnosis (He didn’t realize that’s what she was doing till she tried to tell him he had a fetish for it).

The whole thing about them hanging out because they were both incompatible with 99% of the village population made sense. It wasn’t something they’d actually done but he certainly wouldn’t be opposed to it.

He was attracted to her on at least a physical level, and beyond that he was very much drawn in by the feeling of someone else finding him attractive. He craved attention and the creation of the sexy Jutsu was an extension of that.

He didn’t really mind being a girl in private. While he wasn’t consciously aware of it, Naruto’s lack of a consistent male role model had ruined his chances at having a traditionally masculine mindset, and he didn’t have a particularly strong attachment to his gender beyond liking to do the activities the other boys go to do, like running and playing ninja, more than he liked the things most girls did, like talk about boys and pick flowers or stuff. But Sarsuki was a girl and she did boy things all the time so even if he was a girl around her she’d probably be fine with him doing whatever he would have done anyways.

When Satsuki got to the Hypnosis fetish he realized what she was trying to do. It should have bothered him but the idea of someone doing something so immoral just because they wanted him, well it was a feeling he liked. Also because it didn’t work it ended up just being her explaining all her deepest and most embarrassing desires and he really liked watching that so he’d be fine if she did it again.

The last part about acting like her beard seemed to be the cherry on top. Satsuki had always been the coolest and prettiest girl in their class, and while Naruto wasn’t traditionally smart he was very clever, especially when it came to pissing someone off or in this case, ensuring he didn’t. Satsuki had an obvious dislike for boys who chased after her, so to avoid suspicion Naruto had decided to chase a different girl. Moving on from Sakura wasn’t actually a difficult request at all, and the fact that he’d get to act like her boyfriend in public was nice too.

Even if she only found him attractive as a girl she’d still at least like the part of him that wasn’t boy or girl right? All the stuff besides how he looked was the same so maybe she’d still like him enough that they could be friends all the time, even when he wasn’t a girl.

As Satsuki told him to snap out of his trance Naruto considered his options. There honestly wasn’t much he had a problem with in terms of the things she’d tried to get him to do. He is least favorite thing about being a girl and his only reservation was the fact that he didn’t like other men and wasn’t a huge fan of the idea of being the target of their attention 24/7, but since they were only going to be lesbians when in private, that wasn’t even an issue.

As the last of the fog faded out and he felt himself regain control of his body Naruto turned to Satsuki with a grin and pounced at her.
