Ironwood was quick to raise his sign when he heard the bidding was starting for Glynda. he had always had feeling for the woman but she had always denied him the chance for an actual date the closest he had ever gotten was her agreeing to dance with him at the school dance. he already had the date planned out and was ready to leave specialist Schnee in charge while he was out. now he just had to win.

"two thousand," he heard some one yell and their were still several people in the bidding. he cant blame them since Glynda is very beautiful woman but he would not loose this chance to get a date with her. raising his sign in the air he said "Three thousand five hundred." He let out a triumphant smirk when he saw the sudden jump had caused everyone else to hesitate or jump out.

the smirk became a full smile when he heard open say "Sold to James ironwood for three thousand five hundred lien. he walked to the stage and offered to help her off the stage. "Thank you james," she said with a smile.

"no problem my dear I just hope I can impress you for a second date," he said.

"Well see." she said as they walked back to the table.
