Into a new life

The boss took the machine and began scanning Robert and the whole area around his desk and club. He began entering some specifications in the machine. He stops just before confirming his choices.

"While doing the changes on Dimitri I understood something with your machine. I cannot change too much on a single try, because reality won't accept it." Said the boss and Robert knew exactly what he saying because it was one of his theories that why he constructed the machine only for medical purposes that way the reality won't change much. What the boss did changing a man to a woman is not something that is quite in normality.

"I've sensed the reality fighting back when I change Dimitri, but luckily for me, he had no family at all. The tapestry of reality fought against the changes, but not so much. For you, I can't go like I originally plan I must ease you into the new normality. Of course, you are the only one here capable of reproducing the machine. I need to keep you happy." Ended the boss pressing the confirm button.

The world around Robert seems to vanish into a black hole. A moment ago, he was in the office of a crime boss and the next he was in a strange bedroom. A very girly room. The walls were painted pink and the sheets on the bed were pristine white. Next to the bed, Robert saw a white desk with a very large mirror. On the desk, he could see a variety of beauty products and make-up. Robert was trying to make sense of all this. He was wondering what changes the boss made for him to be in that situation. He could remember everything or it seems like it and his body seems to be the same as before. Everything was relative with his machine he could change the whole life of a person and if he wanted they couldn't remember nothing of their precedent life. Suddenly, Robert heard a soft knock coming from the door and he did the only thing that seems logical in the situation and he went for the door.
