Interview

Amber pulled up in her driveway, eager for a homecooked lunch. Inside, she found Jasmine dressed in a neat-casual outfit.

"Hey babe." Jasmine said.

"Hey. You're looking professional."

"Well I've got some good news."

"Yeah?"

"McClaren's are looking for a casual bartender, so I've got an interview at 2 o'clock."

"Oh. Congratulations."

"So with any luck, I'll have a job by the end of the day."

"Hopefully. Then you won't need your sugar daddy anymore."

The two roared with laughter, as Jasmine then said "I'll have to tell him that."

"What? That you don't need him, or he's your sugar daddy?"

"Only the later."

"Fair enough."

Jasmine then served up lunch which the two ate. After her meal, Amber said "Alright, I better get going."

"Can I have a good luck kiss for the interview?"

"You certainly can."

Amber kissed Jasmine on the lips, before leaving for work. As much as she didn't mind Jasmine and Spencer's arrangement, she had hoped for something a little more stable work-wise. Anyway, an extra income never hurt anyone, especially with Jasmine's 'loose' attitude to spending.

After another day at work, Amber pulled up her driveway, hoping to receive the answer to the question that had been on her mind since lunch. As she entered the door, she saw Jasmine in the kitchen.

As she walked over to Jasmine, Amber said "How did it go?"

"Bad news." Jasmine turned to her wife. "You're gonna be seeing a whole lot less of me because I got the job."

Amber's face relaxed into a smile before Jasmine practically pounced on her, embracing her wife in her arms.

"Congratulations." Amber said.
