Interactions with Spirits
I think I'm probably the most interested in how this'll work out with Spirits. I'm curious to see what happens if people expect a Spirit to be in the tournament by themselves. Worst case scenario and I can't use the remote afterwards, I don't think I'll have too much trouble finding someone to borrow.
With that in mind, Robin grabbed the remote and headed out of the room once more.
Spirits could be seen floating around the halls fairly often; even if they couldn't directly communicate as floating balls of energy or whatever they were made of, they apparently did see the world like an ordinary human (or whatever species the Spirit was a part of). However, there was a semi-official place for them to be if they didn't want to wander around: The "Collection", a vault-like room where Spirits could hang out, sleep, and be called up by any visitors.
When Robin entered the room, he decided to opt out of calling up a Spirit from the list. If he did that, he might have to explain to the Spirit why they were chosen, and Robin was still trying to keep it a secret for the most part. As such, he decided to instead pick one of the Spirits floating around nearby as his target.
He aimed the remote at a Spirit with a humanoid figure shown inside the ball of energy and pressed the top-right button.
Who was the Spirit?
