In the Next Cubicle Over

Josh didn't go far. As soon as he stood up from his chair, he heard, from the cubicle next to his, "Hey, Josh, you busy?"

Considering he'd just spent an hour playing with his new phone, he answered, "Uh, not really."

The woman who'd asked that question was named Allison, and he had a bit of a crush on her -- she was a brunette with a pretty face, an athletic body, and a cute laugh; she also dressed in a feminine 'thrift-store chic' style that he found attractive. He didn't talk to her much, since they didn't work on the same team of people, and he was never that good at small talk anyway. Not that it mattered much in terms of doing something about his crush, since he knew she had a girlfriend, who she lived with.

"I'm having a tough day," she said. "I could use a quick break right about now."

Josh was now at the entrance to her cubicle, where he was taken aback upon seeing her. It seemed as if she'd been 'enhanced.' Her brown hair, normally short and tousled, was longer and straight, in a chin-length bob, with some red highlights, and she'd stuck a white flower behind one ear. Her breasts seemed to be a couple cup sizes bigger, made obvious by the fact that she was wearing a top that revealed both her cleavage and her midriff -- Josh could see not only that she had a silver charm dangling from a navel piercing, but also that she had a small abstract tattoo between her breasts.

He'd only ever seen her wearing makeup a couple of times -- days when, he assumed, she'd been going out on the town straight from work -- but she was wearing some now. Her face didn't actually seem to have been altered; her lips may have been a bit plumper and her eyelashes a bit longer, but that could have been gloss and mascara.

She had on a ruffled pink skirt that came down to mid-thigh and a pair of black high-heeled ankle boots. Those were somewhat normal; the abnormal part was that she was wearing black fishnet stockings instead of the tights she'd usually wear with a short skirt.

"Earth to Josh."

"What?" He'd been busy enough examining the details of her body and wardrobe that he'd been distracted.

"Looks like you could use a quick break, too." She smiled and got up from her chair. "Come on."
