In a few days

"I can clear out some time to meet with you in a few days actually John," she tells you, telling one of her personal assistants to clear some space for her to meet with you.

It wasn't a lot of time, but she did manage to carve out a few hours to at least make time for you, so the least you could do is take her up on the offer, even though she didn't seem to be treating you on a level with the other celebrities in the contest.

"Sorry if I seem a little out there. I'm still trying to adjust to how my life has changed lately," she tells you as she shows up at the restaurant she had agreed to meet you at.

"Shailene, don't worry about it. I'd like to think that those of us in the contest would expect nothing less than to be worked into a busy schedule," you tell her, wondering if this might be the only time you have to actually speak with her.

"I kind of like you, though. So let me see if I can get my assistant to cancel something for me so we can keep hanging out," she tells you, beginning to win you over with her willingness to want to be around you,

"Good news. Looks like we have time to go hang out in my hotel room for a bit," she tells you as she drops a stack of bills on the table and heads out with you, neither of you sure what the rest of the night will bring.
