If I don't write her, EVA won't exist. (Pink Trigger's Power >999)

I mean, EVA... First off, I'll confess I don't understand everything about witches. Some of you are beyond my comprehension. In fact... many aspects are. But, this part I do understand, and I'm sure you do as well... You don't exist yet, right?

"... Oh? We're doing one of those logic battles, huh? Laaame..." The witch sighed, then rolled her hand. "Okay, you try to prove I don't exist, I'll try to prove magic's real-"

No, not that. I mean, even in the story of your origin as a witch, you don't exist during this day of Rokkenjima, right? Events will happen on a later day that will cause you to be born as a witch. I don't think there's any changing that.

"Y-yeah... So? I mean, that's one interpretation. But, hey now, according to other interpretations, I've always been around! I mean, uh... I am the actual Golden Witch, Beatrice! This whole game, and by consequence, your whole story, belong to me now! Why don't you just leave it to me, give up, and die?"

My story belongs to you, but... In another sense, you belong to my story. If I stop telling this particular story, there is a very, very small chance of you appearing in any others I write. After all, you don't actually exist. I've basically bent the events of my favorite story to even allow you to be here.

I saw her gulp. She was no idiot, but even witches fear their own mortality. For her, being told she wouldn't exist was probably the same as being told she would be killed. "Well... M-maybe you won't, but I'm a totally popular character, right? If you don't write about me, someone else definitely will!"

... You're sure about that?

"... Okay, forget about that. I'll hitch my wagon to you for now. That means you have an important task, okay? You've got to explain how I exist, double-time! Otherwise, we're both in deep, deep trouble!"

... Shoot. This sounds like a pain, but I basically wrote myself into this corner. Okay, hmm... What's a good reason for EVA to already be recognized as the new Beatrice?
