Idunn

You find Idunn again in a beautiful green meadow, a paradise under blue skies and white clouds. There are mountain ranges far in the horizon, and sparse woods, she is plucking golden apples from a single, magnificent tree. You bask in the heavenly image for a moment, and land besides her.

"Ah, the mortal cohort visits me. I wondered if he would dare" the youthful goddess lifts her charming hump as she reaches for another apple. She is now wearing nubile attire, a flimsy dress that bares and clouds her skin as she moves, and her hair is free to be caressed by the wind. She smells of Spring and flowers.

"If you don't want me here, I can just go" you say briskly, and her laughter taunts your surliness. "I do love her." You say out loud, trying to think of Brunhilde's warrior body while Idunn gracefully spins in place, so she faces you.

"But I never questioned your motives, oh brave warrior. Only your courage" you feel your cheeks flare. "Or perhaps it is the danger you are ignorant about? Dont you feel another set of eyes on you?"

You do. Someone else was watching you. Your trained eyes find a decrepit old man standing in the shadows, he has vacant blank eyes and a dumb expression. Blind. But also likely an Asgardian, so perhaps there was more to him than meets the eye. "Your bodyguard doesnt look much, Goddess"

"Please call me Idunn. And Hoder isnt my bodyguard, Lucius. He is a fool that once dared to transgress against me. My golden apples give the Asgardians their eternal youth, only he is denied our eternal bounty, only he knows illness and age." To be the only God that grows old and witter.
