IA Day 7 - Let's play!

You and the others go out to the field. There's cameras and music... it's a lot.

You see Riley! The Pink Team's uniforms are super cute. But... you are playing against her, and she is really good. It's actually scary. You wring your hands and take your place as the game begins.

Luckily Adella is also crazy good, and right away the game is happening at the other end of the field.

Nope! Aki has the ball, and she's coming. You and Riona block her, and she passes to Lara, who blows past you both, but Miranda stops the ball and throws it to Riona, who kicks it all the way up the field to Adella, who scores!

Wow! That went well. It wouldn't have worked if Beth and Duni hadn't been harassing Riley.

Riley sees you and smiles and waves. You smile and wave back, then see Motoko glaring at you. You quickly run back to Riona and get ready.

The other team concentrates on Adella, who gives the ball to Hana, who is also able to score. You are up 2 to 0!

The score holds there at the half, but you are tired... you keep having to rush up and stop Aki. Aki is really good, but she won't challenge Riona, which is smart, because Riona would totally be happy to knock her down. Aki just doesn't want to get injured in a practice game. Definitely smart.

Motoko seems pleased at the half, but she tells you to stay sharp.

The game resumes, and right away, Lara and Riley are breaking through. They Sun knocks down Beth, and Riley almost does the same to Duni.

You get there in time, but you're not match for their footwork, and they pass back and forth and go right past you, but Jill is there, and she steals the ball away and kicks it up to Feng.

This is exhausting. Soccer used to be fun, but with all these cameras... you have never been this sweaty before.

But you keep going until there's just a few seconds left. Riley has the ball and she's coming at you. You can get in her way, but your team is up by two! Riley can't win.

You fake a stumble, allowing her past.

Bam! You tumble to the ground, seeing stars. Riley didn't hit you, she blew past and scored... it was Riona, who looks devastated. You understand. She expected you to move toward Riley, and ran into you by accident because you didn't. You were trying to be nice... it's just a practice game, but... ow. You try to sit up, but you are so dizzy. The whistle blows, and the girls are surrounding you. Ouch...
