I want to join ADVENT!

Ever since I first saw the Speaker toning forth on our plasma televsion, I knew that there was a man who understood what this was all about. We should never have attacked the aliens when they arrived. They weren't here to invade, anyone with half a brain can see that a race so advanced as to have mastered interstellar space travel, wouldn't come all the way here just to attack us.

The Elders are nobel creatures, who despite all we have done to them, reached out a hand and helped us up when we were defeated, on our backs and at their mercy.

I have always wanted to serve them, to prove that the human race is worthy of their generosity. That we can rise above and beyond the stars, with their help and guidance. That's why I'm signing up for ADVENTs volunteer progran today.

... Just think, if I do really well... I might be one of the few humans to see an Elder in the last decade!
