A blood-red circle was drawn across the ground in an instant; I barely remember which servants completed it. Beatrice watched me with bored eyes, perhaps wondering what even compelled her to comply with this. Perhaps my Pink Trigger was working? Or perhaps she was just trying to stave off a bit of the boredom that supposedly slowly kills an Endless Witch.

If you were hoping for a sexy ritual involving dancing, naked lady demons, other occult fetishism, you're going to be disappointed. You must have known when I started onto this path that I was going to die. Beatrice had no impetus to make it sexy; it was brutal instead. I'll spare you all the details, but by the time it was all finished, the floor was red with more than just the initial circle she'd drawn and each of the Seven Sisters of Purgatory had gotten a good meal. Several goat-headed servants were charged the task of cleaning up my remains before the game's players showed up.

It hurt. A lot. But in the end, I felt my Pink Trigger grow a little more powerful.

It was that damn witch's voice! Damn! My perfect JRPG advancement plan was ruined before it could get started! I had just enough time to be angry before my consciousness faded completely.

*Editor note: There is a lingering issue where this chapter can be used several times to gain more points... issue or feature?! I will probably leave this option in until there are enough routes to feasibly get 4999 points without this exploit or repeats.
