I think I'll stick to my regular clothes after all.

"Umm," you say, looking at the two outfits. "Maybe I'll just wear my regular clothes after all. I really appreciate the work you two have put into it, but I'm just going to pass for now."

Both Mrs. Anderson and Belinda look disappointed. "Well, suit yourself," Mrs. Anderson sniffs.

You go back to your room, get dressed, and go to breakfast. When you get there, Mr. Anderson, Mrs. Anderson, Belinda, and Ethan are already there.

"Good morning, Parker," Mr. Anderson says. "Your mother should be home later today. I'm sure you're looking forward to see her."

You just grunt non-committally. Your feelings about your mother have confused and distressed you for most of the last year. That's only gotten worse since the Process started.

The rest of the conversation is dull and you're glad when breakfast is over.

After breakfast, you, Ethan, and Belinda head out to the car where Molly is waiting to bring you to school. When you get to school, you attend home room for the first time ever and then go on to your classes. Your first couple of classes are pretty boring and nobody really talks to you.
