Josh stared at his feet. Could he do it? For the love of his life?

'Okay... I'll do it. But write it so I can change back to this body if something goes wrong.'

'Really?' Sara's eyes watered with joy.

'Promise me, okay.'

Sara started typing wildly.

'Hey, first let me read...'

'Oops, already changed it.'

Josh looked down at his body. Nothing had changed. He was still his masculine self.

'What did you change! Come on, let me see.' Josh tried grabbing his phone back, but Sara jumped away.

'I'll just read it okay? Just believe what I tell you.'

'Oh, come on Sara.'

She held up a finger to silence him. 'The new rule goes like this:

• Humans can take hormones that allow for a perfect gender change. There are only two kinds of pills. Pink and blue ones. Every pink one makes the user 10 percent more feminine, and every blue one makes the user a 10 percent more masculine.

Well, what do you say?'

'You added blue pills to the gender hormone pills?' Forgetting that Sarah had basically commanded him to believe her, there was no doubt in his heart that she spoke the truth. But he only had memories of men changing into women with the pink pills. It was strange that he'd never heard of those blue ones.

Before he had any time to object, Sara pushed a pink pill in his one hand and a glass of water in the other.

Josh did. Blinked his eyes. Blinked again. He ghasped for breath. And then crashed down to the floor, before losing conciousness completely.
