Eva complained, slapping her fan down upon the table and looking as though she'd probably have slapped Rosa, if she wasn't worried about how it would affect her business fitness evaluation."These sound like the same excuses you use when you apologize for that pathetic child of yours!"

As a lover of Rosa- and because it played well to my current character- I couldn't abide the ****. I stepped to Rosa's side and told Eva she'd said enough. I reminded her I wasn't here to evaluate anyone's personal troubles. I only need to know the promise offered by their business ventures. I reminded them all that was what Kinzo had demanded of me.

Hideyoshi helped quiet his wife down, while Rosa smiled by way of apology. I urged her to please, show me to a place where she'd be happy to explain her business to me fully so I could understand. Very good... I'd made myself a friend, in a way. I doubted she even saw me as Kinzo's tool any more...
