Hypnosis

Dr. Valentine picked up a pendulum from her desk and returned to her chair. "I will use hypnosis to boost your confidence."

"Hypnosis?" John asked unsure, as he sat back down on the couch. "Does that really work?"

"Hypnosis is a way underrated form to therapy psychical problems." Dr. Valentine said. "Also there aren't many people believing in the power of hypnosis. So, would you like to see that it really works before we start?"

"If it's no inconvenience." John replied.

The therapist held the pendulum before her body and began to slowly swing it." Follow the pendulum with your eyes. Concentrate on the pendulum swinging from side to side, from side to side, from side to side." She said slowly as the boys eyes followed the pendulum.

Slowly John felt his mind drifting into a trance.

"John, can you hear me?" Dr. Valentine finally asked.

"Yes, Dr. Valentine." He replied in a monotone voice.

"Good." She stopped swinging the pendulum. "I want you to do whatever I ask of you no matter what it is."

"Yes, Dr. Valentine. I'll do whatever you tell me, no matter what it is."

"For the time until your next hypnosis you will remain like you were before the hypnosis, except you will still do everything I tell you."

"Until the next hypnosis I will remain like I was before the hypnosis, but I will still do everything you tell me."

Dr. Valentine put on a wicked smile. "Good, than wake up, John."

John blinked a few times as he got out of the trance.

"Everything ok, John?" Dr. Valentine asked.

"Yes, I just felt like I had just fallen asleep for a moment." He replied.

"That was the hypnosis I put you in." The therapist said. "I made you to do whatever I tell you, no matter what it is."

"Really?" John asked a little skeptical.

"You still don't believe me." Dr. Valentine responded sounding a little disappointed. "Then let's see what happens if I tell you to do something, you would normally never do."
