House Phoenix

You decide to have dinner in the House Phoenix dining hall; you are feeling worn out from your long day and don't wish to travel far.

Upon entering, you notice the room is filled with round tables sized to fit eight to ten people each. Gold and red curtains arch down from the ceiling while a faint light seems to radiate from behind. The walls are polished stone and are adorned with portraits of professors and famous wizards who were apparently former Phoenix members. An open counter top separates the dining room from the kitchen, where students are served the nights meal.

As you approach, you see the kitchen is staffed by a short man. His full head of short brown hair extends into thick sideburns but his face is otherwise clean shaven. "Eating alone tonight?" He inquires.

"Yeah, I suppose I am." You regretfully answer.

"Tonight we are serving roasted hog with a side of fresh fruits. If you have a seat, someone will bring your plate out soon. Oh and the casks are to your left. You can get your own drinks." The short man instructed.

You turned to find a seat. Students you hadn't met socialized in groups at tables all across the room. Some had books with them, no doubt reviewing what they had covered that day. Others talked and laughed at each others first day of school stories.

Trying to decide where to sit you spot Harmony sitting at a table alone, a book in front of her and her plate pushed to the side hardly touched. Your first encounter with her didn't go that well and you doubt she would appreciate your company. You notice a group of students from your evocation class sitting with another boy you didn't recognize. They appear to be asking him questions.
