Chapter 34

How do you respond to that?
Honestly
"I understand Cassia, I do." You take her by the hand and squeeze it firmly. "It's been like that for me too. Terrible thoughts and images - things I'd never do, I swear, Cassia." You half expect her to pull away, but instead she rests her hand on yours and nods encouragingly. "I think this is why only virgins are safe in these demon lairs. If I were a more worldly man, I don't think I could have resisted the urge to take you." Her sharp breath reminds you of how aroused you both are. "I wanted to plunge into you again and again until I had fucked you into submission." Cassia's eyes widen at the graphic language, but you continue on afraid that if you don't clear the air now, you'll never get another chance. "It was hard enough for someone like me with no experience with women to set you free, if I knew what sex like that felt like, I don't think I could have resisted claiming someone as beautiful as you." Cassia does not speak for what seems like a very long time as she mulls over what you are saying; slowly you see her fitting the pieces together.
"Maybe you're right." You try not to let out a sigh of relief to hear her words. "I had always thought it was our chastity that let the power of Apollo and Athena flow through us to work their miracles, but maybe we are protected from ourselves as well." She pauses for a moment before smiling shyly at you.
"Do you really think I'm beautiful?"
"Yes." It is only one simple word. If you were a poet you'd have volumes to say about Cassia and her beauty, both inside and out, but it seems to be enough for her.
"Adonis," her voice catches in her throat, "I don't know if I can do this."
"Do what?" You think you know what she is talking about, but you want to hear her say it.
"I don't know how much longer I can fight these desires. Even now, part of me wants to give in to these carnal urges." You sense the need in her as she struggles to express the conflicting feelings. "It's wrong, I know it's so wrong, but I almost wish I was still tied down and helpless and that you were as wicked as these desires that we've been fighting." She points to the now blank window on the wall. "As heartless and cruel as those demons raiders plundering the sweet young bodies of their struggling prizes."
"Cassia, we can't."
"I know you can't deflower me." Cassia takes a deep breath, "but there must be something you can do."
Is there something that could satisfy both of your needs?
