Chapter 60
by
Gray Gremlin
How is Whitney's possible new career getting received back home? What's Cat and the rest of the cheer squad doing for fun?
Hometown Happenings: The Buzz
"No cinny rolls!!!"
Kaitlin Beal raised and shook her head at the text message from her co-captain and close friend. Pissed off at being grounded, Caterina had turned to taking her anger out on her fellow cheerleaders, reminding them not to gain even a pound during the winter break. Word was that Bianca had put the Sugarbees on a workout regime during the period between basketball games. Another rumor had the Sugarbees training for a new dance number for the halftime of the first game back. While Whitney didn't seem concerned, even going so far as canceling cheer practice, Cat obsessed over the prospect of the cheer squad getting shown up.
Upset over Palmer's wandering eye, the brunette spent the night tossing and turning. Now faced with a long day of shopping with her mother, aunt, and cousins, Kaitlin stopped at her favorite coffee house, The Gassy Spout. Unfortunately, it seemed like half of Honey Hollow also decided to grab a cup of coffee or a sweet treat. Either the ninth or tenth person in line, Kaitlin decided to use her friend's words against her. Cat only said cinnamon rolls, not honey buns. Seconds later, the cell phone in her hand buzzed from an incoming message.
"No honey buns too!"
"Oh, c'mon," the brunette muttered, glaring at her phone. I'm having relationship issues! That should allow me a little treat. It's not like I'm the one that ruined your alibi either. Blame Yumi or take it out on the junior year brats.
Tapping her foot impatiently, the teen scrolled through her phone, ignoring her surroundings. Kaitlin missed Howie Cline, the backup quarterback, running into the doorframe because he'd seen her at the last second as he exited The Gassy Spout. She overlooked the cute twentysomething on her right side, checking her out. Nor did the preoccupied brunette notice the murmurs throughout the coffee house as Archer Bowe entered.
"--and Whitney Diamond together? I swear this is my wet dream coming true."
The name of her cheerleading captain snapped Kaitlin out of her fog. Scanning her surroundings, she finally noticed the cute guy checking her out. Not in the mood, the brunette rejected him with a frown. In the line on her left side and behind her, the inquisitive teen found the familiar voice.
"Inside voice, Denny, inside voice," Jayden Cooke admonished his teammate.
"Let me see that again," Louie McCall said, motioning to Dennis Conway to give him his phone.
"Use your own phone," Denny snapped. "This is proof, I tell you. Proof that my theory is correct."
"Jesus, Denny. A lone picture of Skye Willows and Whitney Diamond is not proof of a secret society of hot girls," Jayden argued, looking at his teammate in disgust. "You need to stick to reading Nosy Nectar. That Stinging Truth conspiracy bullshit is going to rot your brain."
"Yeah, your idea seems a little far-fetched--" Louie started to agree before his best friend interrupted.
"It exists, I tell ya! You wait and see. I bet Lana Stratton, Indigo Toye, Ms. Resto, and Coach Thorne's wife all show up in pictures with Skye and Whitney," Denny argued, his voice rising again. "I bet Mr. Diamond flew them down to a tropical island for the break."
"That doesn't look like a tropical--" Louie began to point out before his voice faltered in fear.
"Give me that," Kaitlin ordered, marching over to yank Denny's phone out of his hand. Her eyes narrowed at the screen before they immediately went wide. There in a picture, her cheerleading captain playfully fought in the water with a gorgeous brunette with blonde highlights. Turning her attention back to her classmate, she demanded answers. "What is this? Where did you get it?"
"What's the matter? Not part of the society?" Denny shot back, lunging forward but missing his phone.
"Fine. I'll just have to look through your phone," Kaitlin responded. Turning her back to the basketball player, she started to search his phone.
"Uh, you might not want to go through his phone, Beal. Seriously, even I don't want to see what Denny might have on there," Jayden remarked.
"You may be--eww!" Kaitlin exclaimed, seeing a picture she hoped to forget someday. As if the disgusting image burned her hand, she dropped the phone onto the floor with a clunk.
"Hey!" Denny shouted, scrambling to his knees grab his phone and check if it still worked.
"Told you so," Jayden said with Louie nodding.
"I didn't see anything, I didn't see anything," Kaitlin chanted under her breath several times. "Who was Whitney with and where?"
"That other woman is Skye Willows. She's a model from town, who's pretty popular around here," Jayden explained. "I got no clue where they took that picture, but it showed up on Skye's Instagram page late last night. Nosy Nectar has been quiet about it so far."
"Really? Hmm, that's strange. Thanks, Jay," Kaitlin replied. Turning back, the teen saw that the line had moved faster while she was away. Unfortunately for Kaitlin, a middle-aged woman that had been behind her in line refused to let her back in. "I moved like barely four steps away!"
"And we all had to suffer through your high school drama," the woman stated. "You got out of line. Deal with it."
"You can't be serious?"
"That's life, girl. Now stop bothering us," the gray-haired man behind the woman added. "Get to the back."
"You people are so rude!" Kaitlin cried, throwing her hands up. "I'm dealing with relationship issues!"
The uncomfortable people in line looked everywhere but at the teary-eyed teen.
"Psst! Katie, over here," a dirty blonde at the front of the left-side line motioned. The woman had a cute, friendly face that featured black eyeglasses in the 1960s cat eyes style. "What do you need?"
Kaitlin's mood brightened up as she recognized Fawn Graff, Honey Hollow High School's librarian. Grateful for the help, the brown-haired cheerleader's hopes nearly vanished as a pair of women behind Ms. Graff complained.
"It's still the holidays. Maybe you should get in the holiday spirit, rather than act like whining bitches," Fawn challenged, her friendly face never changing. "This young lady is not cutting in line. I'm buying her order for her."
"Way to go, Ms. Graff!" Jayden cheered from the back of the line. The two women only mumbled a response as the young barista started to take Fawn's order.
"Hi, Ms. Graff. Hey, Beal," Rosita Veliz greeted, although the friendliness in her voice vanished for the second greeting.
"Hey, Veliz. No practice?" Kaitlin inquired about the Sugarbees.
"Later this afternoon. Cheer practice still canceled for Diamond's vacation?" Rosita questioned sarcastically.
"Put the claws away, ladies. It's the holiday season," Fawn said before ordering a surprising number of items.
"Thank you so much, Ms. Graff!" Kaitlin said after the two women stepped aside to wait for their order. She couldn't help but hug the thirty-year-old librarian in appreciation.
"No, no, put that away," Fawn responded after Kaitlin tried to hand her money. "If you help me carry the order to my table, that will be thanks enough." After the teen agreed, the school librarian changed the subject. "I see you finally saw the bomb that Whitney dropped on the male population of Honey Hollow High."
"You know about it?"
"Sure, I heard about it before I got inside of here. Word seems to be traveling fast even with Nosy Nectar being silent," Fawn commented.
"Oh, I hope Nosy Nectar hasn't been shut down," Kaitlin gasped as the idea entered her head.
"Naw, it goes down once in a while. It could be technical issues, or it is the holidays. Even its editor has a life," Fawn shrugged.
"You read Nosy Nectar?" the brunette asked in shock.
"I sure do. How else will I know what's happening with my students? It's not like I can spend all my day eavesdropping between stacks of books," the dirty blonde giggled. "Besides, it's been part of my life since it started back when I was in the eighth grade."
"Wow, it's that old?"
"Hey, that's only sixteen years, missy," Fawn pointed out. "Still, the upgrades over the years make it much nicer and easier to read."
"I can't imagine that someone has been running it for fifteen years," Kaitlin remarked in wonder.
"Oh, it's not run by its founders anymore. The person or persons that run it get turned over every few years. Not much different than the school newspaper."
"Wow, I never thought it was like that. How do you know so much?" Kaitlin queried.
"Sadly, sixteen years is a long time. Long enough to hear something here or there," Fawn remarked, hearing her name called out. Moving forward to get a tray of drinks, she gestured for Kaitlin to grab her drink and a box. "The real question lies in which of your classmates is in charge this year."
"What?!" Kaitlin shrieked, nearly dropping her cup.
"Won't she ever shut up?" a nearby customer muttered.
"You didn't know? The Nosy Nectar staff is almost always students at Honey Hollow High. Although, I've heard that a junior high or college student has been known to help out," Ms. Graff revealed.
"I knew it took tips from us, but not that," Kaitlin replied, dumbstruck at the notion that one of her classmates held such power. Lost in thought, she followed as Ms. Graff weaved this way and that way around tables until they reached a far corner.
"I found myself a little helper," Fawn announced to the four women sitting at a round table that overlooked the front window.
Seated at the desirable spot where three of Kaitlin's current or former teachers. Marissa Resto, the English and literature teacher, said hello first. The newest addition to the school, math teacher Glory Blick greeted the brunette next. Kaitlin managed to be polite as Wanda Zee added her hello. The school nurse/sex ed instructor also happened to be the coach of the Sugarbees, the school's dance squad. The teen didn't recognize the beautiful blonde sitting with them.
"Katie, this is one of my oldest friends, Brandy Fallon," Fawn introduced. "You know her nephew, Sean Tarver."
"Uh, yeah, I do. He's in my history class," Kaitlin managed to get out. Whoa, Tarver's aunt looks like a model!
"Brandy, I was just telling Katie about the history of Nosy Nectar. She'd never heard before that a student runs the site," Fawn said.
"Really? Back in our day, the big guessing game at school revolved around the identity of Miss Nosy," Brandy recounted. "Or at least that's what people called the mysterious person back then."
"Those were the days. I was in my junior year when it started," Wanda recalled. "It was like a nuclear bomb struck Honey Hollow High. People freaked out that their deepest secrets might get exposed."
"I think that was intentional," Brandy chuckled, causing Marissa to shake her head.
"You girls and your gossip."
"Speaking of gossip, isn't your nephew at the Diamonds' cabin on Wasp Lake?" Fawn asked her close friend.
"Yeah, so are Bridget and Peyton. Why?"
"Whitney Diamond seems to be the talk of the town this morning. A sexy picture with Skye Willows was posted last night. You know, the hostess at Goforth's."
"I doubt anything crazy is happening up there. It's more a reunion in honor of Cassie than one of Harvey's parties. It's probably an old picture," Brandy dismissed with a shrug. Sean's too timid around girls still to get into anything crazy. Not like his mom or me.
"Thanks again, Ms. Graff. I need to call Caterina before she hears about Whitney from someone else," Kaitlin said, giving the librarian another hug.
"Happy holidays, Kaitlin," Ms. Resto said in parting. "And don't forget to do your reading."
Assuring her teacher that she would, Kaitlin whipped her phone back out. Marching down the straightest path to a door, she held off on calling Cat. She'd caught a familiar pair of girls sitting in a booth, and they were definitely not following their co-captain's order.
CLICK
"Busted," Kaitlin announced after taking a picture of Margo Lintz and Greta Ascher. The pair of junior cheerleaders froze with mouthfuls of cinnamon rolls. Her mood brightened even further, Kaitlin practically skipped away. Now she had two things to report to Cat.
A pair of light brown eyes stared through the glass display case in consternation. Their owner chewed on her lip as she debated both internally and externally about her dilemma. A groan from behind went unheard by the conflicted teen. It didn't go unheard by the co-owner, who patiently waited for the decision from one of her favorite customers.
"Zoey, can you take care of Mr. Manske?"
"Sure, Mom."
"Tough choice this morning, huh?" Jillian Gibble asked the young woman peering down at the trays of muffins and cupcakes. Co-owner of Dream Muffs bakery, the busty brunette beamed with delight at the teenager's dilemma. "I threw a curveball for you this morning, didn't I?"
"Uh-huh," Yumi Nakano nodded. Usually, the hardest choice for the sweet-toothed teen came down to either a blueberry or raspberry muffin. Three-quarters of the time, Yumi chose her blueberry favorite. This morning in honor of the holiday season, Mrs. Gibble surprised the petite teen with red velvet cupcakes. "I don't know. I just don't know."
"You can always choose both."
Yumi sharply raised her head and stared at the baker in shock. "I couldn't do that."
"How about I give you the second one as a belated Christmas gift for one of my favorite customers?" Jillian asked.
"But you already did that last weekend!" Yumi reminded, shaking her head.
"It's my treat, sweetie."
"But I'm already violating Cat's rule," Yumi whispered. "What if she pulls a scale out at our next practice?"
A bell rang off to the side as the door to the bakery opened. A stocky, brown-haired young man stopped a step inside, looking at two teens standing behind Yumi.
"Let's hurry it up. It takes a good two hours to get up there, and that's without this crappy weather," RJ Ridge reminded his two sisters as he tapped a non-existent watch on his wrist.
"Shhh!" sixteen-year-old Robin Ridge shushed. "She's trying to choose."
"Yeah, RJ. We don't need Yumi starting the process over," Ellington "Ellie" Ridge remarked, barely glancing up from her phone. "Get back out to the car, and keep it warm for us."
"I would, but you're the one that told Cheyenne she could pick the music while you two came in here. I can't listen to show tunes. I'm going to go insane," RJ complained about his cousin's music tastes.
"Gawd, put on your earphones! Or keep looking at the picture of Whitney Diamond, you perv," Ellie teased with a smirk.
"Jesus, Ellie. There are people in here," RJ replied in horror before dashing back outside.
"Whitney? Is your brother a peeping tom?" Yumi asked, after turning around.
"No, he's not," Robin giggled. "Didn't you see the new picture of Whitney?"
"No! She didn't send it to me," Yumi replied, her lip quivering as she thought her fears had been confirmed. "She knows I'm in here! I'm in so much trouble."
"No, she doesn't," Ellie said with an eye roll. "Check that; you never know with those Diamonds. Whatever, it doesn't matter. It was on this other girl's page."
Yumi took Ellie's phone and proceeded to gawk at her cheermate's image. "When did she become a model? Nobody told me!"
"I don't think she's a model," Zoey Gibble pointed out as she joined the group.
"You're already done with Principal Manske?" Robin asked her best friend.
"Nah, he's hitting on Lemon," Zoey gestured to the other co-owner of Dream Muffs and her mom's cousin.
A ping sounded, then another one. After grabbing her phone back, Ellie brought up Nosy Nectar. "Whoa, they finally got the picture up, and there is another one."
Not too far away, MacArthur "Mac" Manske, principal of Honey Hollow High, checked his phone. Standing on the other side of the glass display case. Lemon Leighton noticed the way his eyebrows shot up.
"Is something wrong, Mac?"
"What? Oh, sorry," Mac apologized, putting his phone away. "Nope, nothing is wrong. Couldn't be better, my dear." Good lord! I can't wait until graduation day. Whitney Diamond is so getting it.
"Save the flirting, buddy. I do have a boyfriend," Lemon reminded.
"What's he got to do with me?" Mac responded with a lopsided grin and a wink.
"Whitney said she was going to her cabin. That's not a cabin," Yumi cried.
"No, it's the hot springs near her cabin on Wasp Lake," Ellie explained. "The same place that we're headed to. That's if you can ever decide."
"Hey, don't forget that JoJo is up there now," Zoey reminded Robin.
"I doubt I'll have a chance to run into her. Maybe if it was the summer, but nobody is going to be out in this cold weather," Robin noted. "Besides, it's not JoJo you want me checking up on, is it?" Leaning forward, she whispered, "I thought you dropped your crush on Sean?"
"That's long been over, and you know it," Zoey replied in annoyance. "No, I'm curious if Mrs. Tarver is going to try and set them up together. My mom seemed awful giddy that Jo was going with."
"Zoey, why don't you help the Ridges?" Jillian called over. "Yumi's still deciding."
"Fine! Just give me both," Yumi exclaimed. "I'm probably kicked off the squad already."
Evan Naylor stared at the tablet that lay on his kitchen table. Another one? Holy shit, another one! On the screen, an image showed a picture of Skye and Whitney under a waterfall with Whitney reaching one arm around Skye. Having been an early follower of Skye's amateur modeling, Evan couldn't believe the out of nowhere addition of Whitney Diamond. Shit, this is something out of a local porn video. Taking advantage of the empty house, Evan reached down to rub the growing bulge under his pajama bottoms. Or at least the teen thought the house to be empty.
"Eww! Is this what you do when Mom and Dad are at work?" Evelyn Naylor inquired as she entered the kitchen.
"Evie!" Evan scrambled to sit up, hoping to hide his erection under the table. Nearly instantaneously, he flipped the tablet over. "What are you doing here?"
"Apparently, I'm lucky I didn't wait thirty seconds longer to come downstairs," Eve responded, swiftly walking over to the table. Before her younger brother could stop her, the black-haired beauty flipped his tablet back over, revealing the image that excited her brother. "Again with Skye? I get it that she's hot, but can't you pick someone besides one of my friends to jack off to?"
"I wasn't jacking off to her!"
"Was it to the other girl--oh! That's Whitney Diamond! Nice pull by Skye," Eve complimented. "Maybe dating that old guy wasn't a bad career move if it got her close to the Diamond family. I bet she'll get famous if she bangs Harvey."
"Evie! That's your friend."
"I didn't mean that in a bad way," Eve defended herself. "And could you finally convince Daisy to lose her virginity? I don't like the thought of my little brother shooting his sperm all over the kitchen table. I might not live here any longer, but I do eat on it occasionally."
"I don't...just don't bring up Daisy that way. It's bad enough that the guys on the team say that. She just needs time," Evan repeated the same line for seemingly the thousandth time. Yanking back his tablet, the teen finally noticed his older sister's attire. The attractive twenty-three-year-old wore a short, skimpy black robe. The robe wasn't intended to be so sexy; it's only that Eve had filled out a considerable amount since she first wore the robe as a sixteen-year-old. For a brief moment, the walls in Evan's mind cracked, allowing the acknowledgment of his sister's sexiness to enter his brain. Shutting his eyes, the teen worked to banish those wicked thoughts. Once gone, he opened his eyes and proceeded to stare at a spot on the wall over his sister's shoulder.
Having witnessed her brother's reaction many times, Eve shook her head. Poor kid needs to get laid soon. Perhaps I should try talking again to Daisy. Maybe she won't freak out so badly this time.
"Uh, why are you here?" Evan's question broke Evelyn's thoughts.
"I was at Brian and Becky's engagement party last night. I must have had too much to drink as I left with a guy that seemed okay. But once I sobered up a little in the car, I decided he wasn't good enough to fuck."
"Evie!" Evan gasped, clamping his eyelids down again.
"I can't wait until you're not such a prude."
"Sisters don't talk like that around their brothers," Evan pointed out with a groan.
"Are you sure? I doubt you've asked your friends," Eve teased her little brother. "Anyway, we weren't that far away, so I got out around the block."
"He kicked you out of the car?"
"No, I told him to let me out there. No need for him to know where my parents live," Even assured her worried brother. "So that means I need a ride. You don't mind, do you?"
"No, it's okay. I can drop you off on my way to meet Daisy. We're going to work on a story for the paper."
"Hmm, you know, once you can control yourself around Skye, I might put in a good word for you."
"What?!"
"Simmer down, LB. I don't mean that way. I'm talking about your photography," Eve chuckled. "You're getting good enough that you won't embarrass me. I mean, your photography skills. The horny teen side, I'm still doubting."
"Thank you, thank you, thank you!" Evan leaped up, intending to hug his sister. Eve put a halt to that idea.
"Hug me after you take care of that woody. I might be open-minded, but not that much."
"Let me take a quick shower and we can go," Evan barely acknowledged his sister's comment. That chance to work with Skye was the greatest belated Christmas present ever.
"Slow down, buddy. I'm going to take advantage of this stocked fridge and make myself breakfast," the older sister said as her brother raced away. Leaning out the doorway, Eve called after her brother. "You better cum before we leave. Daisy might run away if she sees that woodpecker."
"Kieran Danforth!" the sexy raven-haired stylist nearly shouted. Catching herself, Ivory Thorne lowered her voice, leaned down close to her customer's ear, and looked at both of their reflections in the mirror. "He's a hot one!" she whispered.
"I know!" Aurora "Rory" Rusk whispered back.
"I try not to notice Rex's players, but, damn, Kiernan had a nice ass," Ivory revealed. The twenty-eight-year-old hairstylist might try not to check out her husband's high school football players, but they sure checked her out. Considered to be smoking hot by an overwhelming majority of the team, Ivory kept in tip-top shape with yoga and pilates. Accompanying that toned, athletic figure, she had long, pitch-black hair, green eyes, medium-to-large breasts, and a firm ass. Throw in a friendly, playful personality, and it was easy to understand why she filled the team's nighttime fantasies. "How did you two get together?"
"I snuck out the other night and went to Metropolis. I almost died when he seemed into me," Rory admitted.
"You were there the night of the big fight?"
"Uh, yeah. How do you know about that?" the teen countered.
"It'd be hard not to hear. This place spreads gossip almost as fast as the Nosy Nectar," Ivory informed the blonde cheerleader as she glanced around. Studio Bangs was a popular hair salon located just down the street from Westgate Mall. Frequented by both teenagers and their mothers, who wanted to look a decade or two younger, Ivory often heard school gossip before her gym teacher and football coach husband did. "Wanda Winkie had an appointment the next morning with Tawny. She went on and on to everyone about how her little boy got hurt. I mean, it's not the first time that he's been--wait, you snuck out? Were you grounded? That's not like you."
"I went off on my dad at Christmas in front of my mom's side," the blonde sheepishly admitted.
"Rory!"
"I couldn't help it, Ivory. He wouldn't shut up about that damn playoff game. At some point, enough is enough."
"Tell me about it. Rex has been insufferable," Ivory revealed with an eye roll. "The next season can't come fast enough. I pushed for him to coach baseball this spring until they could find a permanent coach, but that sounds like a no-go."
"Huh?"
"Oh, yeah, it hasn't been announced yet," Ivory remembered. "The school is bringing in a former student to be the new baseball coach. I guess he was a star player here and spent a little time in the minor leagues. But, forget about that. Tell me about this date."
"It's more of a day date tomorrow. I'm still grounded," Rory admitted softly. "My mom is helping set everything up while also distracting my dad."
"Ooh, sounds very Romeo and Juliet. Is that why Rox--hold up," Ivory cautioned with a held up hand. Raising her voice, she looked over to the salon chair next to them. "Do you need anything, Mrs. Cline?"
"Wha--oh, uh, no thank you, dear. Tawny stepped away for a moment," Howie Cline's mother stuttered after getting caught eavesdropping.
"Just checking," Ivory replied, turning Rory and the chair to a slightly different angle. Leaning down again, she whispered, "We can't let the football mom mafia get the word to Austin."
"That's the best part, Ivory. Austin is up at Wasp Lake for the week. He went with Lacey to Whitney's cabin. I'm gloriously free from his meddling," Rory beamed a rare smile when talking about her twin.
"He's with Whitney? Hmm, that girl has been the talk of the salon this morning. Not that it's anything new," Ivory remarked. "Some of these middle-aged women can be rather mean. I think it's because they're jealous of pretty young girls."
"I don't know anything about those two pictures. I mean, her dad does date models, so maybe Whit decided to follow in their footsteps. She does love the--"
Rory's comment about Whitney's love of attention ended up cut off as a girl with light-brown skin and curly black hair rushed over from the waiting area. As part of Miranda Rusk's plan, Roxanne Kink happily agreed to be Rory's cover story for the afternoon. Already they had spent the noon hour at the mall, picking out the perfect outfit for the day date. The most innocent cheerleader breathlessly held out her phone.
"There's a third picture!"
"Damn," Ivory said, staring at the even more risqué third picture.
"Hrmph! Like father, like daughter," one of the mothers remarked from several chairs away. A few murmurs of agreement rang out around her.
"Spare us the fake outrage, Barb. You're just jealous that boys never drooled over you as they do with Whitney," Carmella Zuccaro bitingly commented from her salon chair. A larger number of murmurs agreed with the Sugarbee legend's defense of the cheerleader captain.
"So any special plans for New Year's Eve, Coach Burton?" Caterina inquired, flashing her eyelashes at the handsome thirty-two-year-old soccer coach.
"I'm taking my girlfriend down to Blackbridge for the night," Tripp Burton answered, hoping to end the teen's questioning. Long used to giggly teens with crushes on him, Tripp felt like the prey whenever he was around Caterina, Whitney, and Yelena. They acted with such confidence that he wondered if they actually expected him to risk his career and possibly jail time to sleep with them.
"Aw, that's too bad. I hoped you would be at the charity ball," Cat moaned with an exaggerated pout. Leaning back in the leather chair, the bottle blonde placed one leg on the desk's lower level. Simultaneously, she rang a pen slowly up and down the exposed portion of her cleavage. "I've never been into playing sports, ya know. Yet, I have this intense urge to kick around a ball with you. Would you like to play--I mean, kick around the ball sometime? I promise that I can take whatever you dish out."
Coach Burton's eyebrows shot up at the blatant suggestion. Once again, Caterina Quill managed to make the experienced ladies man feel like an awkward teen. Even worse, she did it in front of another person. Glancing over his shoulder at the waiting area, Tripp saw that another of his students heard Cat's words. Gulping, he turned back around, gesturing toward a folder near Cat's foot.
"Uh, is that my receipt?"
"Silly me! It was right in front of my face. I guess you don't need to wait for my brother," Cat laughed off her terrible acting job. Sitting up, she leaned forward as she handed over the paperwork for his car repairs. The new position offered Coach Burton yet another deeper glimpse of the eighteen-year-old's cleavage. "Now, where did I put your keys?"
Standing up, Cat walked over to a cabinet against the glass wall between the reception and the repair bay. Above the cabinet, a rack of keys could be easily seen. Humming, the teenaged vixen danced from side to side as she studied the four keys currently hanging.
"It's the one with the soccer ball keychain," Tripp reminded her.
"Right, right, whoops!" Cat squealed as she held up the keychain and dropped it on purpose. "I'm so clumsy today. I hope I can get it. I haven't worn this skirt in ages, so it's very tight."
Coach Burton looked up at the ceiling in exasperation as Cat bent over from the waist. The moan Cat hoped to hear never came from the Honey Hollow High teacher. Instead, the only reaction was a groan from the person in the waiting area, who had a perfect view.
"Got it!" Cat swung around on her high heels. With a purpose in her step, the cheerleader co-captain swiftly strode around the desk and right into Tripp's personal space. "Here you go, Coach. I hope you're pleased with the service of J&T's Auto Repair. If you need an additional tuneup, feel free to call me. My number is on your receipt," Cat added with a wink.
"Thank you, Miss Quill." The increasingly frazzled coach planned to say more but stopped. Instead, he turned and briskly stormed past the waiting area and out the front entrance.
"Damn, soccer gives guys great asses," Cat remarked, looking over to the other person in the room for confirmation.
"Uh, I like football...and girls," Max Moxey meekly responded. He nearly jumped out of his seat at Caterina's cackle. Grabbing an old magazine off the table, Max stared unfocused at the printed words.
"And apparently golf," Cat remarked from behind the desk again. A smirk followed as her classmate turned the magazine around to check the cover. Picking the phone up, the bottle blonde launched right back into her interrupted conversation. "No, Whitney is not freezing you out, Yumi. I didn't even know about those pictures until Kaitlin called me. So, don't start getting paranoid about getting kicked off the squad...What? Oh, that was Coach Burton...What?...No, Coach Burton is not the mysterious older guy that I spent that weekend with...Hold on."
Having seen Max's head whip around because of the mysterious older guy comment, Cat issued a **** glare and a warning. "You never heard that part, got it?"
"I heard nothing."
"Good," Cat nodded, returning back to her phone conversation. "Okay, so...No, I was talking to Max...Yeah, he's still here...Yes, I did...Maybe you just missed it...Are you calling me a liar?... Fine! Max, Yumi says hi...Happy now...No, I'm not worried about him gossiping. He knows better than to cross me...What? No, I would not... Jesus, Yumi, how could you think that?.... You know me? Well, I guess you're right...No, my mom still hasn't said yes. My dad promised to talk to her. I should know in the morning...Look, I gotta go. Jax is coming...No, I won't tell him hi...I just won't...Bye!"
"Cat, you can't sit on the phone line all day. Customers need to get through," Jaxon Quill shook his head in exasperation at his younger sister's antics.
"It's not my fault. Yumi had an emergency and called here," Caterina protested. "I used my cell for all my other calls."
"All your other calls? Look, I appreciate your help, I really do, but I need you to organize the paperwork besides answering calls."
"I've been doing that. I swear. Oh, and Yumi said hello," Cat added to throw off her brother's complaining.
"She did? Well, at least she's still polite. You haven't ruined that yet," Jaxon remarked about their family friend.
"Ruined? What the hell does that mean?"
"You know damn well what that means," Jaxon stated.
"No, I don't. Why don't you enlighten me?" Cat hissed back.
"You really want to do this now? Fine! How about that time--oh! Sorry, Max," Jaxon apologized, noticing the reason he'd come inside in the first place. "I forgot you were here for a moment. My sister has a way of occupying a person's attention."
"That's okay. I know how she is," Max replied. Immediately, he regretted his response as Caterina turned her glare toward him.
"What does that mean, Moxey?!"
"Enough, Cat. Max is customer," Jaxon reminded, but his sister brushed off his words.
"No, he's not! He brought in his sister's car. He doesn't own a car," Cat chuckled.
"And neither do you," her older brother pointed out.
"I'm a girl. I don't need one. Plenty of guys are willing to drive me around."
"It's the plenty part that I don't like," Jaxon said. Before Cat could respond, her brother began to tell Max what issues he found when checking out his sister's car.
"Crap, that sounds bad," Max moaned. "Merritt's going to freak. She has to head back to campus in a few days for her job. My dad usually does the repairs himself, but my parents are up at Frog Lake."
"No, no, it's a fairly basic repair. I can take care of it in the morning. Plenty of time for Merritt to go back," Jaxon assured the teen. "And since I know she's in school; I'll give her the friends and family discount."
"Great way to run your business," Cat remarked sarcastically. "No wonder you're always broke."
"It's my business, and I'll run it how I see fit. I've always liked Merritt, so I'm happy to help out."
"You just want to...ask her out," Cat changed her intended words after seeing the horrified faces of both guys.
"I would never do that, Caterina," her older brother strongly emphasized. "Not everything revolves around sex. I hope you realize that before you get knocked up by a random loser."
"Jax!" Cat squealed. "I'm telling Mom that you said that!" Jaxon looked more amused by the threat than anything. "I'll tell Dad!"
That got the older brother's attention. He dealt with the argument by changing the subject. "That means I'll need to keep her car overnight. Do you have a ride home?"
"Uh, crap. Merritt took my mom's car out of town for the night. She forgot her dress for New Year's Eve at her apartment," Max revealed, frowning. "I can probably call around. Maybe Marcus can borrow his parents' car and get me. Or I can--"
"I'll drive you home," Cat interrupted after an idea hit her.
"What?!"
"Seriously?" Jaxon asked, doing a double-take. His little sister wasn't the kind of person to offer help without something in it for her.
"Yes, I'm serious. It's almost closing time anyway. And it's not like I can take Mom's car to go do something fun. I'm still grounded, ya know," Cat replied, far too cheerfully for her brother's liking.
"Well, there you have it, Max. My little sister is trying to be nice for once," Jaxon ignored his sister's loud sigh. Studying Max, he recognized right away that the teen wasn't Cat's type. At least she's not trying to sneak off for a quickie. Mom would freak if I let her do that.
"Great! I'll get my keys and we can go," Cat announced, moving toward the small office.
"It's not closing time yet," Jaxon pointed out, following her into his and Tate's office.
"It's close enough. Do you want to be rude and make Max wait any longer?"
"I don't know what game you're playing, but you better be careful, Cat," Jaxon warned his troublesome sibling. "I wouldn't take too many detours on the way home. Mom very well might check her car's mileage."
"Ugh, she probably will," Cat grunted. With her coat on, the mischievous blonde walked over and patted her brother's cheek. "Don't worry, Jax. I'll be home before she starts interrogating you."
Sighing, Jaxon watched as his irritating little sister marched across the reception area. Without a word, she ordered Max to follow her. The teen glanced back, giving a nervous wave to the shop owner. Poor kid. I hope Cat doesn't spend the whole drive berating him.
"Whatever I did, I'm sorry. I'm very, very sorry."
Caterina took her eyes off the road for a moment, looking over at Max in bewilderment. Noticing that her classmate appeared petrified, she sighed in disbelief.
"Can't I offer you a ride home without you thinking it's punishment?" Rather than answer, Max leaned farther into the passenger door. "I can be nice, ya know."
"You can let me out right here. I can walk the rest of the way."
"I'm not letting you walk home, Moxey. It's freezing out," Cat declared with both her words and a finger jab. The physical move caused the wide receiver used to hard hits on the gridiron to flinch. "Seriously? Do you think I'm that evil to offer you a ride only to hurt you? Well, do you?"
"I don't feel comfortable answering," the brown-haired teen responded.
"Geez, no wonder you don't have a girlfriend. Are you scared of all girls?"
"Just you," Max mumbled. "And maybe Yelena."
"Gawd, what got up your butt today. I'd think you'd be on cloud nine with Whitney's pictures hitting the internet."
"I don't know what you mean," he muttered.
"Oh, please. Everyone and I mean everyone, knows that you have the biggest crush on Whitney. You've asked her out every year since the seventh grade," Caterina recalled before pausing. "Wow, I never realized it, but you do have some balls. Whit's rejected you five times, and you still keep trying. That's both impressive and pathetic."
"I didn't ask her out this year," Max admitted.
"Waiting until prom, I suspect. Perhaps it's time to admit defeat. You're kind of cute in a boring, bland way. And you were a pretty good football player, which some girls like. Maybe you should...oh, wow," Cat changed her line of thought as an answer to one of her problems hit her. "You know, Kaitlin's having issues again with Palmer. They're still together for now. I could nudge them apart and open a window for you. Would you be interested?"
"In Kaitlin? What's the catch?" Max questioned warily. Considering the rumors that spread from Palmer's bragging, Kaitlin was very energetic in the bedroom. Guys on the team would be jealous if I dated Kaitlin. And maybe Whitney would finally take me seriously.
"Who says there has to be a catch?" Cat glanced over to see suspicion written all over Max's face. "Okay, here's the deal. I hate Palmer! He's a piece of shit that's strung along one of my best friends for years. I'm fairly certain that he's cheating on her at college, but I haven't been able to prove it. When I do, he's going to go through life with a crushed testicle."
"Uh, maybe I'm good not dating a cheerleader.
"No, you're going to date a cheerleader. You've followed Whitney around like a puppy for years. There is no way I'm going to allow you to switch to the Sugarbees."
Max sat in confusion as he never mentioned the Sugarbees. Although, Tandy Cantrell had been quite talkative in Advanced Biology over the last month. Still, I'd rather have Lacey play matchmaker for me than Cat. Lacey's always offering, and she doesn't scare the crap out of me. "My turn is coming up on the right."
Caterina didn't respond. Nor did she slow down in preparation for the turn. Instead, she turned up the radio louder, humming along to a song. When the car passed his turn, Max spoke up again.
"Uh, that's okay. You can turn at the next street." When that street went by and the next one, Max grew concerned. "Cat, where are we going?"
"Out to Shanty Point. I bet the lake looks lovely in this weather."
Shanty Point?! The makeout spot north of town? Max trembled as he asked why.
"Duh, so that we can park and fuck. That is what people do there," Cat replied, dropping her right hand onto his upper thigh.
Still facing the window, Max swung his around in shock so fast that his neck would be sore for days. "Wh-What?!"
"Don't you want to get in the backseat and ravage my horny, little body? Suck on my tits as I ride you? Maybe we can leave the light on inside so that anyone else there can see you fucking the shit out of me. Does that sound fun, Maxy?" Cat purred.
Max didn't answer. Instead, he sat staring at Caterina in shock as his body shut down.
"Gawd, you're so easy to mess with." Cat launched into a fit of laugher as she brought both hands back to the steering wheel. "I need to make a pitstop at Grubby's."
"For food?"
"No, but you can place an order. Actually, you really should. It will make me less of a liar when my mom asks what took so long. You can get me a strawberry milkshake as thanks for the ride," Cat said as she slowed the car down.
"What are you going to be doing?" Max asked as the car pulled into Grubby's packed parking lot. He didn't necessarily want to know. It seemed the polite question to ask.
"I'm here to talk to someone," Cat revealed, parking far in the back, away from the spots that the carhops served customers.
"Isn't that what your phone is for?"
"Kaitlin's going to love how naive you are. Some conversations need to take place in person. That's how you keep them private," Cat explained, opening the car door. "Come straight back after you get our order."
Max watched in confusion as Caterina hopped out of the car and briskly walked down the parking lot. Bracing himself for the cold, the teen started to wonder what he should order. I guess I could use dinner. With Merritt gone for the night, it's just Millie and me. I should probably see if she wants anything. Pulling his phone out, he started to send a text to his thirteen-year-old sister until he saw Cat swerve over to a white SUV.
Curious, Max slowed down and shifted his direction. Moving toward the side for a better angle, he watched as the passenger door opened for Caterina. The blonde cheerleader jumped inside, but not before Max saw a flash of white hair. Only one girl at Honey Hollow High dyed her hair white.
Olena Olesky? What does Cat want with Olena? Wait, why is Cat meeting in secret with Whitney's archenemy in a parking lot? Sighing, Max resumed his cold trek to Grubby's main door.
"I should've walked home."
The teen lay sprawled out on the bed. A thin sheen of perspiration coated her skin as her body writhed in pleasure. One leg bent, the other straight. A lone hand fondled her medium-sized breast. Its opposite worked feverishly between her legs, seeking to quell the burning need that coursed through the tight body.
"Sooo...biiiig," the athletic teen moaned softly. "Yessss...fuuuuccckkkk...meeee! Fuuuccckkk meeee, Harrrveeeyyyy!"
Caterina plunged two fingers inside and out of her recently neglected pussy. The last dick inside her had been three weeks ago. The last real cock had been nearly six weeks ago. It was that cock that she imagined at the moment as memories of the past flooded her mind and cunt. Thinking back to the greatest sexual experience of her life, Cat recalled that adventurous weekend back in late October at the newly finished Diamond cabin.
That weekend's repercussions still reverberated. Cat's current grounding could be traced to the lie she told her parents about a fake cheerleader retreat. It was the solid two and a half days of non-stop fucking that revealed to the blonde cheerleader that she could now be thought of as a size queen. A tiny portion of Cat's mind dreaded the possibility that she'd never find a cock as big and powerful as Harvey Diamond's. That fear brought forth wild ideas and potential plans to keep that cock in her life. If not, she'd turn into a modern version of Cinderella, spending her life frantically searching for the perfect cock to slip inside her picky pussy.
"Fuuccckkkk meeee! Fuck my slutty pusssssy, Misssterrr Diamond!"
It was that fateful weekend that Cat truly became a slut in her mind. Up to then, she'd merely been the school's blowjob queen. She'd willingly allowed herself to experience a series of firsts under the direction of Whitney's father. The wanton teen dabbled for the first time in light bondage. Usually a control freak, Cat found the helplessness a minor turn-on, but only in limited doses. She could never see herself getting into full-blown bondage. Surprisingly, Caterina found herself rather enjoying her first experiences in adding food to her sexual fun. She'd never look at chocolate sauce again without picturing herself licking it off Harvey's monster cock. Nor would she ever taste caramel sauce without imagining the slightly added taste of pussy juice accompanying it.
Oh, that's right. A self-professed straight girl until the day she died, Caterina folded under pressure/encouragement from Mr. Diamond and experienced her first embrace of Sapphic sex. That Saturday night, Cat nearly ran off in shock as a naked Shenai Platt slid onto the master bed, joining her boss and his teenage lover. Calling herself **** would be an understatement. Yet, she eventually agreed to kiss the dark-skinned personal assistant. An accomplished seductress, Shenai led Caterina to willingly try more. First, it was a woman's hand cupping her breast, followed by a feminine mouth suckling a nipple or two. Eventually, Cat awoke from a haze of sexual pleasure to discover Shenai between her legs, lapping away. Before she could protest, Harvey showed off his teamwork skills by presenting his cock to Cat's mouth. Eager to prove that she loved cock, his daughter's friend went to town on her favorite piece of manhood.
"Gaaawwwwddddd...soooo...nassstty!"
Caterina's previous revulsion to girl-on-girl sex proved strong. Only later in the kitchen with various sauces covering their bodies, did she take the plunge--or more appropriately, the lick. After that weekend ended, Cat went through several stages as she processed her willingness to do most of the things that Mr. Diamond wanted. That willingness still slightly scared her. The bottle blonde rationalized that she didn't mind another girl going down on her but wasn't keen on returning the favor. To the teen, that was her own version of bi-sexuality.
"Yessss...oh...yessss!" Caterina's body thrashed around her bed on the second-story of her parents' house. Remembering that she wasn't alone, Cat frantically grabbed a pillow from behind her head, using it to bite down as an orgasm rocked her world.
Flopping back into the remaining pillows, the cheerleader panted from the exertion. Staring at the ceiling, Cat recalled the one sexual act that she couldn't perform. It wasn't out of fear or a lack of trying. Her attempt at losing her anal virginity ended hardly moments after Harvey started. With years of experience, Harvey called it off. He informed Cat that his cock couldn't be the one to take her final virginity. She'd need to first experience a slightly narrower piece of manhood. Perhaps after that hole grew accustomed to the intrusion, they could make another attempt.
"Mr. Diamond will never keep me around for long if I can't do it," Caterina softly admitted to herself. A sharp knock at her door caused the teen to stiffen. Ever since her mother caught a boy in her room, Cat had to been on edge as her parents removed her door lock. Her dad knew better than to enter the room without permission. Not so her mom. Valentina Quill seemed to take glee in barging in with the hope of catching her daughter doing something worth a punishment. She hoped to find any way possible to convince her daughter to attend college next fall.
"Kitten, your mom and I are about to leave," Jason Quill said through the door.
The tension left Cat's body. "Okay, Dad. Have fun."
"I'm going to try," her dad chuckled.
Most children would get sick to their stomach at any hint of their parents having sex. Cat once felt the same. Then she realized that when her dad succeeded in "getting some fun" from her mom, that left Valentina in a much better mood the next day.
"Don't do anything tonight to anger your mom, okay? I'm going work on convincing her to give you a break."
"Thanks, Dad! I promise to behave," Cat said it and meant it. She desperately wanted to go to Lucas Prescott's party tomorrow night. "Uh, where's Jax?"
"He already left for his date." Caterina sat up in surprise. She didn't know that her brother had a date tonight. "I gotta go. Your mom is getting antsy. Love you, kitten."
"Love you too, Dad."
Staying very still, Cat waited until she heard the door to the garage shut, the garage door open, the car start up, back out of the garage, and finally, the garage door closed. Jumping out of bed, the blonde raced over to her closet. Pulling out a carefully hidden box, Caterina pulled out a large vibrator.
"Time for us to have a little fun, HJ."
