Home Sweet Home

When you open your eye once more and find yourself in a sort of simple one story home, simple torchlight radiating off from the sides of the room. There is a fireplace in the foyer and a simple carpet, a dining table in the far corner with a basic kitchen counter next to it, but it all looks distinctly unused...There is a hallway leading to a door and a staircase up, and a door directly behind you that leads outside. Vel falls rather abruptly out of Nyssa's arms as she lands, you still on her back. It's simple enough to dislodge yourself and land on the floor, raising yourself up on your tendrils, looking over it and glancing to the fireplace. The room is warm enough for you, far warmer than the caves, and you insruct Nyssa to drag Vel along as you explore.

Something is off though, you notice Nyssa making furitive glances and seemingly looking for something...Every corner she inspects, trying to check for something you can't see. You decide not to ask, yet, but you do order Nyssa to the center of the room and wait for you. Slinking down the hall, you slip your eye to the door's jam level and peer inside. It's an empty storage room, a small chest in the back and a few shelves full of bare essentials. That's not it, which leaves upstairs and you begin making your way up those same stairs. It's not necessarily a second floor, more like a raised doorway, and you find yourself at the entrance to a door.

It's open to a large bedroom which is just as untouched as the rest of the house, at least at first glance. A carpet stretches forward, with a bed at the other end. The windows are dark, revealing a lump on the bed and several small objects around the room, a cabinet and the dressers and various things you can't be bothered to care about as you raise up to look over the bed...
