Home-Ec

On their way to Home-Ec, Mary realized that Julie's outfit had some ramifications. Even though it was banned, the uniform still had the school colors and initials, so anyone looking at her would assume she was a cheerleader. This gave her an idea.

"Jules, since we've become such great friends, would you consider joining the cheer squad?" Mary asked.

"Cheer Squad?! Oh my god, that would be awesome!" Julie answered.

"I won't make it official yet, since we still need to see your moves. But if you think you can pull it off, you're on the squad!" Mary announced.

"Yeah, and we're texting the others, so word will spread quick. If anyone congratulates you or mentions you being on the squad, that's why." Serena explained.

"Great! When will I get to try out?" Julie asked.

"After school, of course. That's when we usually practice." Mary explained.

Julie smiled and let them continue leading her into the classroom. They found seats in the back, the classroom bot having a conventional layout. Instead of individual desks, they were sat at benches that had several sewing machines sitting on it, meant to be shared between partners. Mary had decided to be Julie's partner while Serena found someone else.

Shortly after the tardy bell, the teacher, Ms. Lucas began the lesson.

"Okay, everyone. We've been learning how to alter clothing by cutting and hemming. Now, lets put them together. I'm sure each of you has brought in a garment to practice with?"

Mary and Serena smirked.
