His tie was ruined

Jamie smiled at his shift in luck with the acquisition of the new shoes. It took some getting used to since he never had anything exactly like them before. He wore cowboy boots for a Halloween costume once, but these were a little different. They changed his stride and he found that if he kind of rolled his hips with the steps, they steps felt more natural.

The problem though was his tie. With his new walk, it kept bouncing left and right which was getting pretty annoying. He took it off and looked at the thing. His mood dropped again seeing his silk tie was completely damaged from the pond.

"Of course," he thought.

With little reason to keep it anymore, he tossed it into a bin and sashayed off. As he walked along he felt the girl's phone buzz and he looked at the screen.

"Can't wait to see you tonight." it read.

Jamie smiled seeing the message. It made him happy to see that the girl's date was thinking about her. Then he frowned realizing that that this guy was probably waiting for her to respond. Jamie started to text the guy back.

"Me too! *Heart* *Heart* *Heart*" Jamie said.

Jamie figured that the girl would appreciate it.
