Hire her as a maid.

"Oh, that's too bad." I say, covering my delight at her desperate situation. "Hey, if you need a few extra bucks a week, you could come over and work for me. Can't beat the commute."

She's not immediately into the idea, and seems even slightly uncomfortable. "Oh, I wouldn't want to make things weird, Mr. Smith. I can't take your money."

I nod along with what she's saying. "I understand. I'll give you one hundred dollars right now if you come do my dishes and clean my kitchen."
