Nick at first hesitated, but once the first trickle of blood entered his mouth he quieted down & happily drank the blood. Having drunk the whole glass, Nick became tired & went to sleep.

"And now we wait," Tess said to Kate.

"Yes, Theresa," Kate replied, "now we wait for Nicholas to join us." They both proceeded to lie down on the bed next to Nick, wrapping themselves around him in a soon to be vampiric embrace.
